Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2016 timeline and updates

I must admit, as far as I know (and trust me I'm watching the announcements of when people get OWP on here) they had just reached the end of April 2016 last week, so when a 13 may announced..I was like...WTF? dumb question to the poster...you sure you are not 3rd May? You have nothing posted for your timeline so I have to ask...

Ours received mar 2. Opened may 13. Started processing may 23. OWP june 27.

30 some degrees outside in Vancouver BC and im sat inside addicted to this forum hoping for a ray of hope about OWP... what a loser

3 losers together...we have no one else to ask, as CIC "help"line is about as much use mostly as a fart in a hurricane. Thats why we hang out here, virtually, trying to pick up any scraps of information.

I've thought about a more efficient means for forum members to collect info, and to submit info. I am a Software Engineer by profession, and spend much of my time in enterprise and web application architecture and development..

I am still thinking this one through, but it should be reasonable to consider that you can predict behaviour. Yes Canad1anAl1en, I can hear you now...

Obviously there is margins for error, but if users buy into active feedback, then we could all benefit from a prediction machine. Prediction from dates and trends. Auto and cross correlation of events... etc...

Am I just delirous from heat, or maybe beer, or is this a reasonable idea...

hmmmm, im seriously considering calling the super helpful CIC staff to ask wtf is going on with my application as nothings changed on the statuses for either OWP or PR. unless its something to do with not being able to link the 2 applications and im not seeing something.... the 'work permit (new employer)' is showing 111 days to process so for me that 30th August so dont know if i'll wait for 3 hours on hold to be told to call back 30th August or if i call on 30th august and they go oh crap, your application fell under the desk.. we've swept the dust off and will have a look for you....

sounds like a gppd idea but something else we will all become addicted to checking... plus you shouldnt have to put your time and effort into something like that, not something that should be straight forward, i.e. we receive an application we process it and then process the next one that arrives all in order......i swear there's a clown doing it all with some juggling trick and choosing whichever one drops first... that's probably how all the police certs are getting 'lost'

Profiler, thats kind of what I do..but without the software lol, just reading and watching the trends, figure out averages..far as I know the spreadsheet does show averages but again like anything...it is only as good as the data that it has, and some posters do not update...or are even on the sheet.

Statistics and probability are just math. I have written much more complicated tools to determine if road elevation profiles (to the fraction of a mm) are what they should be, and autocorrelate and display to civil engineers for anaylsis. This wasn't that tough...

But you can see, it too would apply here. Finding order in chaos. And for me, it's no issue if it would get use. Then we can send CIC a visio diagram with how the process really works

Profiler...you create a data tool such as you are decribing, and license it to one of the PR forum suppliers....it could be worth coin..or even do it as an app with advertising.

I applied on X day, what does the app say I will get my OWP/PR...I would download it....and probably trust it's dates more than the CIC given ones!!

I would patent it, then release it freely. I know the pain family's go through waiting. Anxiously checking the mail.

If I know it would have a decent user base, to reduce error margins, and that people would be truthful with it. I would whip it up asap.

i definitly would im constantly working out when i could get my OWP based on what other people get!Looking forward and back through this forum which is getting pretty hefty and through the spreadsheet.
