hi,

I'm new in this forum...
Is anyone apply here online @ Abu Dhabi, UAE for spousal open work permit?

My husband apply online for Spousal Open Work Permit at Abu Dhabi, UAE last May 9, 2013 and up to now no email or reply from CIC except during the day he applied and cic email that they received the application.


How long is the process of SOPW?
Are the country UAE subject for medical before going to Canada?


Please give me a note...

Abu Dhabi but not online. Submitted the
Documents in march this year. M still waiting

Hi guys i am new in this forum i also applied for OWP under my husband's sponsoship i passed all my documents last may 30, 2013. Nag follow up ako last two weeks ago they replied and said that me backlog nga daw ang applications ng TRV. And i am waiting for almost 8months now. Not pretty sure also if approved or refuse. Still hoping and praying na lumabas na ang result. Me nakaka alam po ba if kailngan po ng medical kahit dto po galing sa dubai? Thank you and Godbless us all!

Hi, also applied SOWP thru online last dec 26. I had submitted my docs thru my cic account and received a confirmation email that they received my application and they also gave me my application number. I just want to ask whether our online application would also be processed in abu dhabi or will be forwarded to other location? If thats the case Im afraid we may wait for even more than 6 months as compared to what the website claims for 4-6 months processing time. I hope im wrong.

By this time, your application would have been processed because, now the time shows "applications working on 30th December". As you have submitted on 26th Dec, I think, ur application has been completed. Just wait for one more week and call the call centre. Ur application will be verified through out the world not from Abudabi.

Sorry but I forgot to mention that I applied outside Canada. I hope that my application will be processed faster coz im afraid it may also land in Abu Dhabi where my current residence is Oman. Thanks
