I am worried as in 2009 I was denied a work permit to Canada and in March 2012 I was denied a TRV to visit him. Will this affect my application and make the process slower and how do i proved our relationship genuine? We have photos, letter from family and friends, tuns of emails conversations and skype, money transactions, wedding photos with family and friends. Is that enough? We have know each other since I was a child and been intimate since 2009 but can only prove since 2012 as I was really young and did not know one day we would be married and needed to do this. Thanks!

But without such testimony, I'm sorry, there's just no conceivable way that you're going to get to Canada without swimming to one of its shores.

I don't think many of us, if any were questioning the relationship. I just think most were advising what to expect and potential red flags. Your 22 and your hubby is 29. Although your mum may think he is too old, 7 years age difference is not very much at all.
I think most people who responded were just advising OP what to expect and a 29 year age gap is pretty big. For me personally in 15 years she will be 37 and he will be 66. I think an obvious concern for an immigration would be what kind of health may a 66 year old be in, especially if there are young children involved. They may well deem the relationship is 100% genuine but they will also asses the future and what may happen.

Relationship success does not depend on people seeing things the same way. Respect for the other person's perspective is far more important than constant agreement! Everywhere around us there are average people. They entice you into being more like them by offering their acceptance and by leading you to believe that everyone else is more like them than you are. the 'average-person sales pitch' leaves out that you will be sacrificing your goals, sacrificing your individuality and unique ideas-leading a life that is not so much yours as it is determined by a preferences of your group. I am a leader you are the AVERAGE! I do not care what society thinks ans what they think should be. It is my life and I live it how I choose. MY HUSBAND IS PERFECT IN EVERY WAY. HE IS MY DREAM MAN, HANDSOME SUCCESSFUL, KIND, GOOD MORALS, HONEST, LISTEN ATTENTIVELY, TREATS ME LIKE MY *censored word* COULD MAKE A BURGER!! WHICH SAYS A LOT . HE IS LOVING, HE COOKS, HE CLEANS HE IS DOES EVERY FREAKING THING. THAT MAN IS A DARN ANGEL, so don't worry you didnt hurt my feeling and no offense was taken! HAHAHA I just couldnt believe people say those things 2 put persons down especially when it is already hard 4 them, thats all!!! now you mention you 23 I see why you speak the way you do. In time you will grow up and be in the real modern world where Blackmen are been president and 51 year men are with 22 year women hahaha!! been sarcastic
