Hi,

I have few queries so after I submitted my application, I checked the status online which said "IN PROCESS" then after a week it changed to the status "DECISION MADE". Once, I've clicked in decision made status, under that they mentioned these three things:

1. We received your application to sponsor on May 19, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on June 16, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on June 15, 2017.

now my question is, What does DECISION MADE mean? & What are the upcoming steps after decision made?
also, do they send letter or updates through an e-mail or they mail to our home address? I have used my representative's status as mail address.

I am bit stressed out. It will be grateful if these questions can be answered. Thanks so much in advance.

Does is say that in ECAS under sponsorship or permanent resident? If under sponsorship it probably means the sponsor was approved to sponsor the applicant a.k.a. SA (Sponsor Approval).

That's a bit fast, and could be an error. I'm assuming you submitted an INLAND application?

However to answer your question, decision made means exactly that. That they've already made a decision on your application and after that depending on your location as the office must have available times you'll be given what's called the "landing interview" where they either hand your COPR and welcome you to Canada which is you being approved or you being refused.

Please help..I sent application on march 13,2017. Then march 31,2017- they asked me to.send the background declaration,schedule A..Cic asked me to do medical on april 12,2017..and medical results was sent on april 26,2017..
I checked online- it is still " medical resultshave been received " until now.
They didnt ask me to send any police clearance...i didnt inlude police clearance on my application because it is clearly stated that I DONT NEED TO SEND POLICE CLEARANCE,BECAUSE THEY WILL ASK ME TO DO IT LATER...some people said that after medical results, i would expect interview or passport request??????

No need to worry or panic. Medical received in ECAS means it's passed. If you don't believe me simply call them and you'll hear your "medical was successful" OR login to your GCKEY and It will say medical passed as for the police clearance some of us sent it upfront but it's not mandatory. Just give it time and always make sure you're checking your emails or mail whichever you have as as a contact
