This is ottawa case. No one get ppr from delhi. People waiting since march 2016 on 2014 batch.

I think m880 of 2014 batch received PPR from NDVO on 26-Aug-2016. Unfortunately, s/he is the only one out of 35 cases at NDVO.

Although NDVO and HKVO started pretty early requesting docs; they had to slow down for some valid reasons:
- They are busier than most LVO outside Canada as they handle lot of variety of applications (student visa, spouse sponsorship, FSW, PGP etc.)
- NDVO normally asks tons of docs from parents. It takes time to gather all of them and then for NDVO to check them.
- Busy LVO's tend to hire lot of locals for document verifications. This sometimes delays processing rather expediting.

Congrats vnexpress!!! That is a wonderful news. My parents had their Medical + PCC requested on August 7. They are just waiting for all the PCC to arrive and send it as they only have 30 days for that. so does that mean Singapore LVO will request for PPR in 2 months? Wow that is exciting...

I understand but the problem is she has no where to go back to in home country. Both her kids are settled here. Where will she live alone and wait all these years while I am waiting to become eligible to apply. and even after I apply it takes years. She is 60+ and can not live alone all these years while her children and grandchildren are here. I am looking at all other options and if no other category can keep her here then H&C is my last option.

I totally understand. And I can feel your worries. We have pretty much exactly same situation, except I'm the only child and single, and my mom is older.

My mom has lived alone for 10+ years while I studying and working overseas. She was 67 and still working 8+ hours a day back in home country when I applied Super Visa for her in 2013.
She has been living here with me on Super Visa since then. We applied for stay extension twice, now she's allowed to stay until 2018.

I wasn't eligible to sponsor her PGP until 2015. Now we're already half way through, got sponsor approved and wait for medical/PCC request.

There you go.
Problem solved. ;D

I don't know when your mom entered Canada and whether you have ever extended her stay before.
But what I'm trying to say here is, utilising stay extension properly and legally, your mom can easily stay with you here for a good 4-5 years.
Just don't try any short cut that people tell you that might work or so-called easier to get a status. It's not worth it at all.

This is not eligible for H&C immigration. There are many like you in this forum. Some waited 7-8 years to bring their parents permanently. Some like we feel lucky that our cases are getting finalized within 2 years. And most of us have been living in Canada for at least 5-6 years.

I just got Police Certificate request , along with request for right of PR fee. Not sure why they didn't request medical. Anyone else had the same thing happened to them? Are they going to request medical later?

Medical requests often come in separate email. If you have linked your app with MyCIC account, it may arrive there.

I saw in some cases it delays 2-3 days, though mine was delayed only 5 min.
But you will get separate email for PCC/PR fee and Medical.
All the best

May I know if her Creatinine test result was out of normal range?
Hi Rossei,
I am not exactly sure the terms of her test, but basically they found some blood cell in both of her urine tests. The doctor just ordered a kidney ultrasound to make sure everything is OK.
My dad who is a non accompanying dependent of my mom had the problem. He did the kidney ultrasound and the result was just fine.
My mom is here, so we had to go back and forth between my family doctor and the immigration doctor.
Still waiting for the ultrasound appointment. Hopefully it will be normal.

Got it.

My mom had to do Creatinine test as she was diabetic and hypertensive. She did it few weeks back in Bangladesh and the result was normal. So, I hope it comes normal.

Got medical and PCC request today, yay!! ;D

Congratulations!

I think my entry in the spreadsheet might be colored "purple" by mistake. We never got explicit request for medical exam.

I corrected it.

Usually, the mistakes don't happen from my side :D. When someone makes an entry in Add Entry sheet, I visually check for mistakes, formats, abnormal values; then I run a script to copy the new data into Timeline sheet. The colours are auto-formatted in Timeline sheet.
