Thank you for your time. I don't have client ID number, where do you get it from?

Didn't you previously apply for PR or Citizenship?

It is the same client ID you used for your citizenship application.
I don't want to sound like pest but it was long time ago that I applied for citizenship. Is there any other way to get client ID?

You can call and ask CIC I guess.

Hi everyone,

Just FYI that my eCas was updated with my sponsorship application. It says

We received your application to sponsor XXXXXX on January 2, 2015.

Checked mine as well. Same message: We received your application to sponsor XXXXXX on January 2, 2015.

Rossei, I updated my info on the new entry tab. Great work with the spreadsheet!!!

Now the waiting game begins.....

Sorry to hear that. Actually, there is a bunch of applicants like you whose CC didn't get charged yet. Most CC were charged in January. So, it can be assumed that ~5,000 applications were already charged. But from last year's report, few were still charged in March-April of 2014.

What I think, CanadaPost/UPS/Purolator don't provide authentic time-stamp. FedEx (or local courier) is more reliable in this case. So, although you think your application reached CIC at 10:45am; it may not be the correct time (it could be much later the day).

Here's the link to my Google SS where you can see CC charging trend: http://goo.gl/S2SPwf

I tried to use eCas but I receive this message every time:
"We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons..."
I use my Clinet ID number !

I am wondering why we haven't seen any new AOR.

I wouldn't worry coz last year's batch received their AOR in June.
As long as I confirmed CIC received my application and it's in 5000 cap, I'm all good.
From now on, there's nothing much we have control over. It's pretty much just the matter of time.

I use my Clinet ID number and PR card number.
Anybody can help me find a way to see if my application is considered or not?!

Your credit card has been charged on Jan 19th, it means you are within the 5000 cap. What do you mean if your application is considered or not?

Hi,

My application was returned today with message saying that they received the application after maximum of 5000 complete applications. Letter is dated 26 February 2015 and my application was sent by Canada Post and was delivered on Jan 5th around 12:00.

So I think the message on the CIC website about the limit reached on 16 January is not based on reality.
