CIC recently introduced WEBFORMS to contact them re: any changes after you apply.

Appoint or change a representative
Send us a completed and signed Use of a Representative form (IMM 5476) via this webform. In your request, include your:

Full name,
Date of birth,
Country of birth,
Application Number (if known), and
Relative’s Client ID Number (UCI) (if known).

You can upload the form after you have completed all the required fields.

Thank you for bringing me up to date on the subject manner. It is good to see that CIC is making progress on the use of online services.

It has been a year since I submitted the application for my parents and CIC took the money out after submission.

Did anyone hear anything from them regarding the application?

Did anyone able to login to 'My application' online and check the status?

I know it normally takes years to process, but since this is a new year I thought I would check with others who applied.

I have heard that applications from 2015 have been sent to Delhi office. Don't know if it's true or just a rumour. Did anyone hear about that?

It has to be a rumor. Before sponsorship approval, the file won't be moving anywhere. And CPC-M doesn't seem to work on 2014 files let alone 2015 cases. They are still trying to finish cases submitted before the PGP pause.

Mu guts tell me whoever have sponsored there parents in Jan 2015, will not see any movement until late 2017 or mid 2018. Keep your finger crossed.

Yes I submitted the application in Jan 2nd, 2014. See below for exact wording

Dear Sir/Madam,

This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted on behalf of xxx xxx and family (if applicable).

You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative has been forwarded to the visa office in CPC-Ottawa for further processing. This visa office was selected based on your relative's home address and the requirements for the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

and some other non case related info like RPRF/Contact info etc

Hope that shows case is moving forward...

I only have one scenario "Application Received".

There are about 20000 visas if the number is kept to the same level as last year. If you see the 2010 thread you will see people having done medicals 6 month ago still waiting for visa. The biggest problem with the system is that it can slow down at any stage.

The people who did medicals last summer probably thought by this time they would have visas but are still waiting. Until the backlog clears, the processing time to visas will remain unclear. The best thing that could happen is that the current govt increase the visa quota to clear the backlog.

Additionally i was wondering if they are asking for financial reevaluation documents again for the 2014 apps.
I applied in 2015.
