Previously been determined that we don't really know what time packages were received by CIC - timings reported by the courier companies do not appear to be accurate. Last year I had an earlier courier reported time than others whose applications were accepted in the 5000 cap; but mine was not.

I know that your mom is on Super Visa; but did you apply for PGP this year? FYI, you are not in the spreadsheet.

FYI:

Those successful applicants who paid by alternate method (NOT credit card) and don't know exactly when CIC charged/cashed their payment, have been given an arbitrary payment charge date of 30-Jan-2015. This is for sorting purpose in our Google SS.

Correction:

Read Instructions No. 10 & 11
10. Those who don't know their payment charge date but received AOR on 21-Mar 2015; a charge date of 20-Jan-2015 is given.
11. Those who don't know their payment charge date but received AOR on 22-Mar 2015; a charge date of 30-Jan-2015 is given.

Note, this is being done to sort Timeline_Stage2. This may change again once we have everyone get their 1st AOR. Thanks.

Done. So, you were given 20-Jan-2015 for your payment charge date.

I got my credit card charged on Jan 17th but haven't received the AOR email as yet.

Same here, CC charged on Jan 27th but no AOR received. Checked visa account, no refund from CIC either.

IF no AOR email received yet unfortunately that means CIC changed their mind and your application is not included any longer in 5000 cap.

How do you know that? I think you need to wait more to get the AOR. I don't think we can assume all 5000 applications have received their AOR already.

I just called CIC, no update yet, but the agent said that they are still in the process of sending AOR letters. She also said CC charge is usually a good sign....Hopefully I will see the letter soon.

Stop spreading rumors.

CIC has not completed sending email AORs. People whose eCas has not been updated / haven't received AOR, but their CC has been charged, have nothing to be worried about.

Received my AOR thru email with application number last March 22, 2015. Application sent Jan. 2, 2015 and received Jan. 5, 2015 @ 08:48 via Purolator, CC charged Jan. 29,2015.
