Hi everyone, this forum is amazing.
So I want to sponsor my mother who lives alone by her self for over 3 years now since I moved to Canada. I had to wait 3.5 years to start the application to meet the 3 year taxation period. It is scary that I have to make 38k for 2014 for example to sponsor my mom I am a newbie, seriously? If it's only 35k they won't look at it basically? That was question num# 1

Question 2 - The forms online are still on the 2012-2014 taxation years and I only have starting 2013/14/15 taxation years. Meaning this year is gone? Or they will switch it last moment?

Question 3 - My wife is not a co-signer but she supports herself and has a job. I assume that I do not need to mark her as a 3rd person in the family because that will mean I have to make 47K which is quite high. I am sponsoring my mother myself and I will support her myself.

Question 3 - I have the notice of assessment for the years 2013,14,15 with me so do I just copy them or I have to request a special NOA forms from the CRA as they look different? please help.

Thats all for now, thanks guys for quick reply. Bless this forum man! ;D

You have to include your wife in your family calculation. You need to meet LICO for three people for 2013, 2014 and 2015 to qualify to sponsor your mother.

If I have to include my wife in my mother's sponsorship application (my wife is the one who sponsored me to come to Canada)
That means I include her income as well. Because it is a household income right? Or I have to be making 47k by myself?

You have to include your wife when you calculate the number of family members. You can include your wife and her income as a co-sponsor (and combine her income with yours).
