Sponsoring Nephew 20 years old

Hello everyone,

I am a permanent resident living in Alberta for more than 2 years. I want to sponsor my nephew who is little over 20 years old and is in the 3rd year of his 4 year degree program (MBA).

Question is can I sponsor him in AINP. Since the age limit in AINP is 21 years or older. Assuming the application takes 8-12 months my nephew will be 21 years old by that time. Will the CIC consider this or at the time of application he should be 21 years old.
Most of the other condition as per the Alberta AINP website I can satisfy.

Nope when they state 21 they mean 21 on the date of the application.

there's a lot in period date.. meaning the one you will sponsor should be within the age limit prior to the submission.
