Well, I knew approximately what day I was planning on returning, so I used that date. If you have some general idea when you're going back just say "in (month), (year)". I don't think you can leave it blank nor do I think they will hold you to whatever date you pick. I've known a couple guys here who applied for PR for their wives who had no immediate plans at all to go home.

It appears the pr will take about 10 months. What would happen if someone put a date that is less than the processing time? For example, If I put September 2013.

That's exactly what I did and, at least in terms of the sponsorship end of things, it didn't matter. I think they are asking the question to help verify that you actually have a real plan to return. So your September date should be fine.

I put September 26 on my sponsorship application, and my sponsorship was approved, even though my husband's visa probably won't be processed until some time late in the fall or maybe early in 2014. At any rate, we've actually decided to move up our arrival date to August 26, so at that time we'll take a copy of our SA approval letter and our marriage docs from Korea (translated into English) to show the immigration officer when we get to Canada.

Just laid out all the photos I had selected for the VISA application on the floor, have 86. Think I will trim that down to around 50.

for some of the dates on the forms regarding employment/address, is it okay if I start out with a date, for example: (from) "04 12 2009" then write in (to) "present"?

Did you divide the photos into sections? (development of relationship/wedding/reception/honeymoon)?

I numbered ours and then referenced them by number in my covering letter which set out the development of our relationship.

I got them in chronological order now. might do some more tinkering and put them into 'sections'

I have written a letter regarding what I will do upon my return to Canada, but am struggling if I should mention when I will return and the fact that I have written it as 'my wife will be returning at the same time.' I am sure that this is not that much of a big deal, but sometimes just not 100% sure how I should approach it.
