Thanks for the advice bartjones, any comment on this though?
Yes. you don't need to list her on that form.

I don't agree. You can't have joint title here and any VO who relied on the deed alone to determine actual ownership would be flat out wrong. Under Korea law, property acquired cooperatively by a married couple during their marriage is divisible equally on divorce regardless of how title is held. So making the statement I suggested he make i.e. that he and his wife own their residence in Korea, is completely accurate.
I'm looking at this from a CIC point of view, and potentially proving joint finances to a VO. When i refer to home ownership, i'm mainly thinking about a piece of paper you can send in with your application that truly shows that 2 people have a common interest in 1 property... and here that is mainly the mortgage document.

From what you've explained though I agree it shouldn't be an issue at all. Plus i think proving joint finances like this is more important in common-law applications.

On Page 2 of the Sponsorship Evaluation form, where do I put my wife? It almost seems like I don't list her anywhere on that page of the form. I am sure we discussed this before, but I can't seem to find the relevant post anywhere on the previous 29 pages of this thread.
You and your wife will be 4. and 5 A) - Current Undertaking. The 2nd page has to do with 5 B) to 6 B), so you can just write N/A over the whole page or leave it blank.

I think you're right there. If he were common law it would be a very different story.

Another one.

I have been in touch with a real estate agent in Calgary. We have made plans with him for him to show us properties in Calgary this July, we are visiting there for a month, in the emails it also states that we plan to buy a property in Calgary, through him, after my wife gets her PR. He knows this and is still willing to show us properties in the summer, with the full knowledge that we will be buying later in the year or next year.

My question: Should I just print off the emails and submit them with my application, or should I email him again and ask him to write a letter stating that we are using his services?

I think both options are fine. The first one (just including your emails) is probably easier.

In my case I plan to rent when I go back and I contacted some rental agents about that. I didn't include any of those emails. I just mentioned in my covering letter that I had contacted them and gave their names. CIC seemed okay with that. I think it's helpful to show that you've addressed your mind to the issue of accommodation as part of your plan to return, but I didn't supply a lot of documents to prove that.

Ya, i concur that you don't need to over-complicate this and just a letter from yourself and a few emails would be fine. The first stage approval most cases is just a rubber stamp from CIC. There are VERY few cases on here where apps are denied due to CIC not believing the sponsor intends to return to Canada. In fact thinking about it... I can't remember reading any cases that a sponsor was rejected because of this.

I think going through the tedious and time consuming processes of doing the apps, paying the over $1000 fee and added hassle and costs for medicals, translations, certifications etc... is more than enough proof that you intend to return. Why go through all this bother for a PR from a visa-exempt country, if you didn't plan on returning to Canada?

Bar Code Forms: Can I write on these forms if already validated with bar codes? Or, have to print again with the correction? Thanks!

No, its irrelevant to your application so no need to include it at all.

If you are not writing 'present' for some of the dates, then I would print off the forms again. Got the translated and notorized documents today, each single document has not become a 5 page document!

Still waiting on the Option C as well, it has now been 28 days I believe since I requested one.

If I write anything on those barcode documents, do I have to print them off again I wonder?

Some of mine are 4 pages and 1 is 5 pages re the translations and notarizations. Option C was almost exactly 4 weeks here.
