You should definitely tell them. Try to attach a proof, like ultrasound pic with date or a doctor note confirmation of your pregnancy! It will strengthen your case.

Yeah I will send them that when did you apply I applied Feb 23 2018 and they still didn't start my husband background check

I sent on Mar 12, 2018. They havn't started my background check too. They are kind of strange though. If they want to give you an interview they don't start the background check until after the interview.

I have a friend who is applying with the help of a consultant working in Rabat. The consultant told him that every client she has worked with has gotten their visa in less than 8 months. He just submitted a few weeks ago so we will have to see if this is true.

Not sure if anyone is interested in this story, but my friend applied to sponsor his wife around the end of May 2018. He worked with a consultant out of Rabat who helped him prepare his documents. She said she would get him his visa in less than 8 months. Well on Dec 27 2018 my friend's wife received an email for pre arrival services. From what I learned about this, it basically means they have completed processing her application. She will not need to do an interview and they will call her to the embassy to watch a video about Canada and to pick up her visa. I guess the consultant's promise was true.

Same and I applied April 12, 2018. We have an 8-month old baby too.

I see, when I asked my MP to look into our case they told them that they haven't started security or criminality yet. I really hope that doesn't mean that it'll be a long wait....

I forgot to mention you could also order the GCMS notes. They are basically the same information that the MP would be able to see but you would have all the information in your hands. Also if there are any concerns from the officers point of view, they will write it in these notes. They take about 1 month to get sent to you (although some people had to wait longer) and the cost is $5.

That's totally wrong my background check started before even Review of eligibility and 2 days after I saw that they are reviewing my eligibility
