Thank Nooda,
hello everyone,
everything went very well for my wife, the intrvw lasted only 30 mns, they asked the usual queexpected questions & thank God I prepared her for the unexpected.
They asked her for proofs of support which she produced & they kept them. Gave her back her passport & pics & saithey would call her next Wed Nov 28.
So right we are both relaxed as we've passed this major hurdle towards our reunion.

To everyone else I wish you a smooth sailing like the one my wife had today.

Hi Yasmina/isabelle, hi Nooda
thanks
most of the questions usually consisted of:
How did you meet?
Where & when?
What do i do for a living?
What's my birthday?
have I ever sponsored someone from morocco? (In this case she knew I tried to sponsore my sister last year. Thank God she was aware of that because they had the file in front of them & they even asked her about my sister's name).
Where do I work?
If I was married before & if yes why did my marriage break up?

As for the proof of support it is an amount of money that i 've been sending her once a month so she could help herself with i,t not that she needed it but just to give our marriage that genuineness in the eyes of the interviewer.

As she called me while I was at work, & I can't talk to her now as it is very late over there in morocco, I will get the rest of the interview questions from her & I will post them on the week end.

regards

hi everyone,
As I promised in my last post I spoke to my wife about the whole interview thing today. She said that she had her interview with a nice lady(moroccan), the interview lasted only half an hour at the end of which she told my wife that they would call her next Wed to let her know about the paper. To her surprise my wife recived a call yesterday morning (friday Nov 23 at 8:00 am). The lady said that my wife's papers/visa would be ready & she could come pick them up on wed. This has been unbelievable.
Now we have already booked a ticket for a friday nov 30 flight & I am going to pick her up in montreal. I just can't wait.

As for the questions they asked her it was mostly what I posted earlier plus the number of guests that attended our weding ceremony. The rest of the time the lady spent it chatting with my wife how everything was, tat it's cold at this time of the year in canada etc...

I guess now I have enterd another stage of waiting. But this one I don't mind as I know the end of it is going to be great.

So hold on tight everyone who is still awaiting that call, it is going to happen god willing.

regards.

Congratulations I hate waiting.

I am so very happy for you.
I just started this painful process of waiting to be with my Husband. Our application was received on Oct 22nd, and now we are waiting for the sponsorship approval to be processed. I hope there will not be a long delay.

I see that you waited between 7 and 8 months, it must have been very difficult to endure the waiting.
It is great to know that you will finally be able to start your lives together.

Thank you for posting the interview information. Seeing that your wife will be getting her visa so soon after the interview gives me a glimmer of hope. And thank you for the information about the interview questions. I know it depends on the interviewer, and each individual case, but it is very helpful.

I miss my Husband so much.

Thank you and congratulations again.
