Thanks :)...so the timeline can be 10 days- 2 months+?

For us it took 42 days. They called and emailed.

As for updates on ecas....ours are not up to date at all. It still shows a decision was made someone will contact you regarding the decision. We've had our final decision since April 18th.

Thanks everyone for the prayers and encouragement.

I am holding on to the fact that Rabat is completely random in their handling of each application. But at least we know there will finally be an answer.

It will be a positive decision. They wouldn't ask him to redo the medical if he didn't pass the interview. The only thing that could stand in his way would be the security check.

Blech. That's all I can muster up.

Lynn

Lol Lynn...

I feel the same.

We are fortunate that my husband has not traveled or lived outside Morocco. He has never worked for the government or served in the military. And I know his police checks are clear because I have seen them all. So unless there is something more that I don't know of all should be good. .... I hope.

Saying prayers for you Dair & your hubby!

Thanks Fatimzahra ... its a long weekend for the embassy so trying to keep busy.

The reason I m still skeptical even though they asked for the medical is because I thought they asked habibti's husband for his too..after his interview. They asked for his payment ...and gabe them the impression he could have his visa soon then after more than 2 months he was denied. Or am I completely imagining that??

Anyway, soon enough we will have an answer.

No new medical was requested in that case.

No, don't worry Dair. My husband's medicals expired the second week of January 2012 and his interview was on September 12, 2011, so they never asked him to redo his medicals. They asked us for the payment of permanent residence in June 2011, three months before the interview... When they asked for the payment, they gave us the impression he was going to get his visa as he was told he will travel with me to Canada after my visit to him :(

Ok..sorry I thought they requested them.

Well maybe it is good then. Because she made him wait quite a bit after the interview and then she came out with the photos and the hundreds of pages of printed conversations. She gave them to him and told him to redo his medical. She said she would start the security check and once she got both results she would contact him with her decision.

I knew from the MP that they had both and the file was on the officers desk. I guess I was just surprised to see decision made on ecas before contacting him. Like Fatimzahra said ...her husband already had his visa before it was updated. Must be a different VO.

Well all I can do now is go enjoy the beach with my daughter for a while.

Still praying for and sending best wishes to all.
