Sponsoring husband from Morocco

A woman I work with went inside, in south Africa somewhere. Maybe nigeria. She seemed to raise so hell. Her hubby got his visa.

I read 3 different posts about people getting an email saying they had to be available in Canada by the phone for 3 hours from the interview starting in Rabat. One woman said they never ended up calling her, but her husband later received an email saying he passed the interview. Another woman said they called her and asked her questions about her husband (the same questions they asked her husband about her), but she forgot 1 of his jobs or degrees, and he said one of her children's name wrong or twice (I am not sure if anything else happened), but they ended up getting a rejection letter. Another woman said they called her just to confirm some of the answers her husband gave about her in the interview and they passed. I don't think they always call people even though they send the email - just if they have questions that they cannot confirm on the application and other proofs that were sent in. It could also be that they don't want the sponsor to show up at the interview - so they tell them they have to stay by the phone in Canada. They may be afraid the sponsor will cause a scene if their spouse comes out upset or saying they didn't pass the interview.

It is been 15 months of waiting, it was a challenging mental game, and I am actually happy to hear from them at last.
For people who their spouse is in Morocco by the time of the interview.. I have read earlier on this thread that you can attend the interview, but they will get you in after your spouse is done the interview.. so literally the sponsor should be waiting while their spouse is in the interview room, and will be called after.. that was some time ago, but not sure if things has changed now
But you still can give them a call and ask. My interview is the 13th

It is crazy that you had to wait 15 months, I thought I would have to as well - I may still have to. I think I have the same woman handling my application that Maha did, maybe she has a heavier work load or something. If they are trying to get all the August/September applicants done, though, I should hear from them soon. I will keep everyone posted as well, if I hear from them. I am leaving for Morocco tonight.

Good luck, but I don't think you should have a problem at all. They are mainly supposed to ask questions to see if you know one another like any other married couple would. Being together for over 6 years, it should be easy for you. My husband and I have been together for almost 5 years. I am so glad your wait is almost over.

Got my visa today i am sooo happy guys..my biggest advise is dont believe peoples stories they make it look like hell or is soo smouth...one things i have a huge red flags ...age no wedding. .and i get approuved easier ...love that girl work i
