Maybe 14 months is the wait time in Rabat now - it says on my GCMS notes that my eligibility bring forward date is 2018/10/27 which would be 14 months for me.
Yes it think its going to be the case .. did you know before that the application number shows the name of the agent that treats your file like F 0000..../ DA ( its a women )
My notes have my file number F0000... and then says location Dalila (unless that is the woman), but it doesn't have any initials after my file number (my notes are from February 20th though - they requested new background check, etc. since). I think I know what they are doing with the 14 months. It doesn't look like they are counting sponsorship approval in the 12 months. When I checked CIC since getting my notes, it says - application type - Permanent Residency - Date submitted October 27, 2017 and they have my bring forward date on my GCMS notes as October 27, 2018. I applied in August, but it looks like they are only counting in the 12 months from when they start processing the permanent residency application.
When I spoke to a CIC agent they told me that the process from submitting the application to getting the approval takes 12 months. They don’t count the events that happen after this.
That is what I heard, as well. Maybe it is just a coincidence on my application, but it is funny that they wouldn't list the eligibility bring forward date as the end of August when I applied instead of 14 months later in October which would be 12 months after starting the permanent residency part of the application. I am expecting a 14 month wait though, because Maha had to wait 14 months, and it looks like MOHAnKATIE may have to wait that long too.
Some people on here are saying it depends on the visa officer you get - some process applications faster than others.
Yeah I expect to wait 14 months as well. This means my wife gets her visa May 2019.
I did see the F 0000.../ DA on the correspondence they sent me when they asked for the new background check etc that they emailed us in March. So it looks like we have the same woman working on our file. It wasn't on my GCMS notes, but maybe they didn't have anyone assigned to my file at that time in February.

When you will receive the email to give more proofs about your relationship from rabat immigration it will show application number F 000.... / ( 2 initials) of the name of the agent
This might be an off topic question but has anyone traveled to Morocco in July, specifically in Marrakesh? I'm planning to travel there in a few weeks and I wanted to know how it will be during my stay.
I'm heading there in two weeks!! I've been there before in July and it is hot....just as you might expect. But, Marrakesh is a wonderful city that truly wakes up at night. There's a lot going on and a lot to do. I really love their gardens and parks.
