Hi Habibti! I am full moroccan but I was born here in Canada, Alberta, I am 18, me and my husband have been together for roughly around 2 years and he's 20 years old. We got married in Morocco this september, we just had a small wedding, my dad was there but my mother and younger brother couldn't be there because we just went to morocco last summer and the cost is very expensive plus we just moved to another city and bought a new house so we couldn't afford anything more than that. All of her family was at the wedding including my grandma and everyone. We printed out all of our facebook messages, skype, and pictures. I don't have an option c print out because I never filed for taxes before but I do have pay stubs from my work that I photocopied and also a letter stating my employment. I am also still a student. We have all the medical exam, police certificate and everything we need. Reading these forums are really getting me worried and I'm hesitant to send my application because I'm scared. I don't want it to take that long. I really want my husband here with me so we can start building our future together, and its been really hard being away from him. If you have any advice or tips you could give me it would help me a lottt and put m mind at ease. I am very happy to hear that you got accepted which gave me some hope but for some reason I am unable to think positively, I still feel like they are going to decline it and the process will take forever :-[

If I understand well... you are both Moroccans and Muslims? You share the same language and the same culture? And you are almost the same age? I would not worry. :)

Yes we are same everything haha : p Okay, thank you soo much, I feel way better now : )

I stayed with my husband for a week in his apartment until I had to go back to Canada, does that count as living with each other??

MY wife got call today and embassy told her to come pick up her visa on 16-01-2013

No that would not count as living with each other but it lets immigration know that you have had a little time alone together which is a good thing :)

So it means that my husband is not about to be here??? If your wife got the call today on November 12 and she can come pick up her visa in 2 months, it means that my husband could not be here before February or even March ??? SNIF!

Now I am more upset. My husband went to the police station to get his PC. He realized they made a mistake on it. It won't be ready before Thursday. We are losing time! November 20th is the deadline and after that they will close the file for good. I might be pessimistic, but more and more I believe he will never come to Canada.

Please not give up hopes! your husband should be assertive and pesistant to get the PC before the deadline on November 20th.

7 days left till dead line
-2 days left till he gets the PC
=5 days to get it there
Going to be fine. Deep breaths :)

Sending peace your way.

Thank you Dair. Actually the deadline was Monday November 19. The PC will be ready on Thursday and my husband will travel the day after, which is Friday November 16.

Yesterday I sent another email to Rabat asking them for an extension since it was their mistake. When I woke up this morning, there was an email from them. They accept to give us 30 more days. Fiou!

Anyhow... my husband still wants to travel on Friday to deliver in person everything they have asked him for. But it is good to know we have this extension as a backup plan in case he misses the train or the police station did another mistake on his PC :)

I'm thrilled that they recognized that this was their error and gave you an extension, not that you will need it by the sounds of it!! It just nice to know you have room to breathe! :)

Thank you Jenni! My husband successfully delivered all the required documents this morning at 10:00. He missed the 6:41 am train, so he had to take a taxi to Casa, then another one to Rabat.

According to our lawyer, chances are he might get his visa last week of December or early January. Maybe your husband and mine will get their visa at the same time :)
