Hi,

I am currently living in Toronto on a PR for the last 10 months. Can I sponsor my sibling for Canadian PR on the basis of my PR and if yes, what is the process to do that and how much time does it roughly take? Thank you.

There is no directly route to sponsor your sibling unless he/she is orphaned and under 18.

There is also another option but you have to meet requirement of being a "lonely Canadian".

Read up on ALL the conditions listed. And if you meet ALL the conditions, you may qualify to sponsor 1 relative (e.g. your sibling)
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...forms-guides/sponsor-member-family-class.html
Thanks for your response. I''m Single and my sibling is Widowed. Does that qualify for a Family sponsorship?

Are both of your parents deceased?

Then you cannot... as I stated. Meet all the condition.
If your parents are alive, then they "can be sponsored". And thus you cannot sponsor your sibling.

someone related to you if you do not have any other relatives that
  • can be sponsored (such as a spouse, common-law or conjugal partner, child, parent, sibling, grandparent, uncle or aunt, niece or nephew)
