Sponsoring a parent and a sibling

Hello everyone.
I am new to this so hope i can get this right.

I am looking to sponsor my Mother & Brother to Canada. based on what ive read so far, i cannot sponsor sibling if i have parents alive. My father has passed on and my Mother and Brother is all the family i have left back home. i met the Income cut off to sponsor 2 persons + myself.

Question:
can i sponsor my mother and brother as he is dependent child? My brother just turned 18 years.

I appreciate any response given and thank you all in advance!

Yes - you can sponsor your mother and include your brother as a dependent.

Note that a limited number of applications are accepted each year - so you will want your application to arrive at CIC's offices on the first business day of January.
