Sponsor living exclusively outside of Canada

Hi sorry if this has been asked before, but I tried searching and couldn't find an answer. I am doing an outland application to sponsor my husband. I am Canadian by birth, but have been living in Australia for 10 years now. My husband is Australian and we live here together. We are wanting to move to Canada as we have had a child and want to be close to my family for support.

The application allows sponsors to reside exclusively outside of Canada at the time of the application, but they ask for some evidence that they are intending to re-establish themselves in Canada once the application is granted. In the application form, it lists things like job offers, leases etc and I'm thinking who gets job offers in circumstances where you may not be able to return to Canada for 7-12 months by the time the application is finalised and the move organised...? And why would you be taking out a lease in those circumstances? I can just imagine trying to get a lease with a start date in 12 months... I don't really understand what they're looking for. We're moving to be close to my family, so I was thinking letters from my parents confirming that we're arranging the move, that they have set up the basement suite for us until we get our own place and so on. I'm trying to think what else could we provide? We have a baby together so obviously it's not likely that my husband is just wanting Canadian PR for himself and that I actually have no intention of returning to Canada with him...

Does anyone have any experience with this type of application and what sort of evidence have you provided? I feel like I'm overlooking something.

All that my sponsor provided was a letter from her parents, offering accommodation and a personal narrative explaining why she was returning to Canada, along with a prospective timeline. That's it.... No problems at all.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
think sponsors in your situations normally would attach a letter from family (parents) to app.
but there is good chance that VO would request more supporting docs regarding to the matter.

what you can do is applying for a job and send a proof that you have been looking for a job etc.
even a letter from a company with good feedback or promising perspective would help.

My case
my husband did not have a job when I applied for outland (lived outside Canada)
did not attach a letter from parents but attached a letter that why we wanna live in Canada(future mostly for our daughter )
while vo process my file, i was requested to send more supporting docs regarding to that matter (obviously vo was not satisfied with our letter)
luckily we were in Canada and husband had a job so we sent his pay stubs and letter from his work as a proof we kind of settled in Canada already.

Thanks for that info both of you. I'm not actually intending to work but I guess I could apply for jobs... although, it would be pretty disingenuine. I'm not working at the moment and my profession is a lawyer and I'm not qualified to practice in Canada so you know... it could almost look dodgier than just telling the truth.

Hopefully with letters from family, and a letter from me setting out our plan (including perhaps how I could become qualified to practice... not that I actually intend to do that but that's my business) they will be satisfied. At least it's good to know that they will ask for more info instead of just turning around and saying "denied"!
