I'm sorry if you're confused, but there is a lot of work in pulling together a visa application and you must read through a lot of document and instructions and document checklists to make sure you've done it all correct.
If you are not willing to do this, it might be best that you contact an immigration consultant who will do this for you, as it is a lot of work and you need to read through the application instructions first of all in order to work out what needs doing.
Best thing to do is to read through the very first thread posted on this board as it provides a lot of good basic information - here is the link http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/spousal-sponsorship-t46995.0.html .
Then you need to go to the CIC website and read through all the documents and instructions including document checklists - here is the link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/spouse.asp
Once you have gone away and done all of that, you will still probably have more questions, which we will have happy to help with if we can. But really you need to have some idea first.
On a basic level once you apply, your husband doesn't have to stay with you in US, he can move ahead to Canada.
