does gettin a lawyer help ur case go faster or jus like everyone we have to wait??

Coz my husband is driving me crazy bout gettin him a lawyer since
its been a year now since i have applied n CHC is takin their time n having fun
while my husband is driving me NUTSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Lawyer cant make it faster show your husband the CIC site where they write it in the FAQ. Lawyers are good when you need to appeal though and when you file application they can organize it good (though you can do that part yourself).

no use to hire lawyer, cuz CIC do proceessing according to their own way, it would be better if u hired a lawyer when u were applying Case....

does any one know why they change processing time again it is now 26 months does this apply to cases already in processing for over a year. i am really worried i need my husban d with me as soon as possible my son is 1 month nd still have not met his dad yet. is there any where in canada tht i can go to tht will make the embacy do my case

awww just dnt worry , tryn n pray to allah ............. only d most diffcult cases got done in 26th monthssss , dats d max
time frame.........

most hubby casee r done in 16,18, 20 or 23 monthsssssssssss

"The times are based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between October 1, 2010, and September 30, 2011. Processing times are subject to change."

It is just a projection of how long it could take your cases but depending on how complicated it is it may take longer or less time than 26 months stated on there.

You should try going to the MP and see if they can help you out. Also like Sabak said try for a visit visa or go back home to visit your husband if you can meanwhile.

It is not easy but if he can provide assurance that he will come back to Pakistan then he can get a visit visa.

offcourse hes gonna cum back cuz case is going on in CIC, he cant even stay longer then it will effect on his application, cud be refuse if overstay there

Yes but they want assurance that the person will come back and doesn't overstay. They want job letter from employer that the person is going on vacation, bank statements, property documents etc that would show the prson will go back to Pakistan.
