Hi to All, My wife got refused to her Study Permit Application just two weeks ago, recently she re-apply again but not SP, a caregiver program that was advice from a friend, since she was a Registered Nurse in our home country and now we already paid to an initial fee for processing for the caregiver application.

My question:1. Is it better for her to apply a caregiver? or to re-apply again for study permit?
2. If she has already a valid work permit for a caregiver, Can a spouse will allow to apply a work permit? Also for my 5 yrs old daughter, can she be in school without a student permit since it is considered to be a minor child. thankss

1. It's really her choice.
2. No. A spouse can only apply for a work permit if their spouse has a NOC A, B or 0 job. Live in caregiver doesn't qualify. You and your daughter can apply to come to Canada as visitors - but that's it.

Thanks for that, much better for her to re-apply for SP so that I could apply an OWP.
another question: Can she also apply for Student Permit while her caregiver application on progress?

I know just now job offer is still advertising for a month, then apply for LMIA if already has an employer and total weeks almost 4 mnths.
