Today is the 7th day that i have couriered my application but still received no confirmation.

CIO will not confirm you receiving your application so quickly. You can get the confirmation from your courier service.

My application was received on 10-June and CIO first contacted with me on 19-July providing with UCI and application no. Later I received PER on 10-August.

u can add up ur details like ur date of birth, file number or uci number etc etc to locate easily. seniors plz correct if any mistake.

Samirsa...!!! make sure ur job letter/reference letter is not 100% changed. If u do then CIO will raise 100 question. Everything will be same but u will put in some duties and responsibilities on it. I know some one been same situation and wrote his reference letter and he got PER.. So if u can make ur letter perfect then u will get PER insAllah.

How do u know about the File Transfer date ? is this reflected in the status update at CIC's website ... ?
my status has been RBVO since ages like 2 months .... ? RBVO means my file has not been transferred yet right ?

Received By Visa Office (RBVO) means your file has bee forwarded to VO for further processing.....Mandie

Thanks mandie i was a bit confused with the status though !
Initially it said 'Application Rec.' and then RBVO ! so that means my file has been transferred to VO ! Fingersss crossed !
