Dear Mandie

Can u elaborate Nashe_31 case to me. what was his education and experience. As if u remember i told you about my education and experience which has made me worried. plus one other thing some one has told me that i would not be awarded complete points for my experience as my experience and education is over laping with each other. I was a full time student in evening and full time job in morning. Is there any problem with that ?

Regards
Amir

Dear Nashe_31

Thank u, first of all congratulations to your progress and wish u best of luck. actually my query is that my education and experience is overlapping throughout. I started job during my bachlors and then change my job and during that job i did my masters. I have an experience of 7 years in different fields but i did my education during my job. So many people are telling me that CIC will take me as part time Job holder and wont give me complete points. Please tell me if there is any thing like it and tell me some thing about ur case that what is ur experience and education ?

Nashe's PER is a victory for all those applicants who are worried about not having a social work degree. As far as the guide is concerned, you only need to have performed the duties (check the link for NOC 4152 duties below). I don't think there is a problem in in your case so far as you can evidence with experienece letter from your employer that you have performed the duties mentioned. Also to claim points for education, make sure you provide original transcripts. I hope this helps...Mandie

Great!. Many Congratualtions!

I'm glad that experience is the only one that matters. I also work in social assisstance, but I don't have a bachelor degree in social assisstance.
Could you please tell me when you you've sent your documnets, you decided to send only the documents mentioned in the Document Checklist, or you sent other additional documents? I have the reference letter with a very detailed job description, but I don't know if I have to send other documents. There were situations when other documents have been asked later?
