Hello, my spouse and I are planning to sponsor our parents. We are already PR of Canada. But when we fill out the form, the size of family and income are confusing. Here are my questions:
1. I've been working for 3 years, my spouse has been working for 2 years. Can we still sponsor both of our parents? Or both of us must meet the minimum income for the past 3 years?
2. If I'm going to sponsor my own parents first (and she waits for the next year to sponsor her parents), what's the size of family I should put on my form? Myself, my mom and dad (size = 3), OR myself, my spouse, my mom and dad (size = 4)?

Thanks!!

1. You can both sponsor - you'll need to co-sign the application for your wife. Your combined incomes for the last three years will have to meet LICO for 6 people.
2. 4 - assuming you have no children.

If you want to submit interest to sponsor your parents for 2018, make sure that you have NOA from 2015, 2016 and 2017 that shows you have enough LICO for 6 people (if you want to sponsor for both sides of the parents) for those years. You can use combined income of yourself and your spouse as long as she/he can co-sign the applicant.

You need to include your spouse for family size regardless if she will cosponsor or not.
