ok...I haven't applied for the SINP job approval letter but I don't think so they need atleast median wage rate as compulsory because majority of the companies here are not paying median wage rate.
CIC doesn't care whether a position is entry-level or senior. They all falls under the same NOC and, thus treated the same.

In many engineering industries, wages can range from ~$20 to >$80 per hour depending on levels. (excluding engineering managers, since it falls in a different NOC) I'm sure this is true for other professions too. It's close to impossible to get $38/hr for any junior positions (Canadian or foreigners) which is what many PGWP is working.

This is very different from low skilled jobs (burger flippers don't get promoted to senior burger flippers and get a raise often I suppose?)

Median wage requirement started out in LMO to protect Canadian workers from unethical employers hiring foreigners for cheaper wage. It works well for low skill jobs (*1). Not so for other jobs where wage ranges widely.

*1 >200k LMOs were issued to low skilled jobs in 2013

Yes what I am trying to say that entry level graduate can not earn median wage for any junior position so I think so its not a problem that you are having lower wage of particular NOC or median. SINP will issue the employment approval letter with out concerning the wages for international graduates.

No, what I am saying CIC / PNP programs don't care if you are new graduates working in junior positions or professional in senior positions

It sees you have below median wage, they'll say "sorry you're out". This is explicitly mentioned in LMIA requirement, not so clearly in SINP programs (It only mentioned "job condition in Canadian standard")

That's why it is so hard for fresh graduates like us! i'm graduated in April 2013, I dont think i'm a fresh grad anymore but, I'm still considered a junior in my field! There's no way I can get paid median salary. I guess I can try negotiating......

It depends on how good rapport you have with your employer.....off record you can talk to your business owner to show your wages as $26 in order to LMO and you pay him back the difference. :-*

which province are you folks in? For sure Ontario, Alberta is saturated and your negotiation power will be less. But provinces like Saskat, MB are looking for skilled workers. So why not try their for better wage jobs? Wish you luck !

If I have to transfer provinces to make sure it works, I'll do it. LOL but to transfer now all i need is an employer that wants to hire me...a foreign worker...apply for LMIA etc..

Same here EE profile active. But no ITA.
CEC file came back as I applied in Dec and overall cap reached.
LMIA applied in Nov and still waiting.
I am currently working in Canada with a positive LMO early last year. Can't I use that for Express Entry? I got ineligible twice already.

For junior level EIT's (engineer-in-training), it is a sucky situation to be lumped together with professional engineers (P.Eng holders). The median wage is quite difficult to meet for most new grads on PGWP's. Is there any way around this?
