This what I got from CIC
15 April applicant
There is a backlog for PNP applications in the Sydney office of 4 to 12 weeks. Many PNP applications have been coming to Sydney recently, hence the backlog. They are trying their very best to clear the backlog.

We will not be able to get any information until the decision is made. I suggest that we should wait 12 weeks from August 2017, as we can hear anything in that time hopefully.

Any update on your file?

I did my Msc from canadian university. I am doing phd right now in canada. I have 3 years graduate research student stipend of &30000 per year for three years contract letter with my professor (as a student not as an employee).
When I read on Sinp application package it says you should have job offer (mine is not job offer though I get stipend monthly) or settlemend fun ~$15000.
Do I need to show the fund or my student contract letter is good enough. I have $10000 scholarship extra for one year. May extend for next year.
Is there any possibility to deal with bank balance from these letters?

I desperately need suggestions and instructions.
Thank you in advance.

Are you on a post graduate work permit?

No I am in study permit.

Since you are a international student right now, you cannot apply under the student sub category since you have be holding a post graduate work permit and you need a approved job offer. If you are thinking of applying under EE or OID, unfortunately, those streams are currently closed.

Hi guys

Hope you all got your PR by now.

But anyways, I have a question. As conditions of nomination, applicants under the SINP student category should still have offer of full time employment by the SK employer in order to keep their SINP valid right? All the SK experience category, all said that they should work at least 6 months with their employer before submission of SINP application except the Student category, where it didn't say that they should be already working with their employer, it said should have current, permanent full time job offer.

On the SINP website, it didn't say that the applicant should actually start work from the day they got nominated. I'm asking because a friend got nominated under SINP but his employment start date got pushed back.

Any advise? @anton1990?

Hey Wonderland

from what I remember...... U need 6 months experience prior to applying. When your friend got permanent fulltime offer - he is fine. Date does not matter. It will say - to remain Nominee he cannot change job or title.

I hope that helps
