Hi Ellained,
Sorry to hear that u did not get MR yet.
So, I called CIC at around 6am SK time. Wait in queue about 20mins. Officer was very nice. He checked everything - "Your documents are all good. Just wait for a bit and you will be getting Passport Request anytime now. You just crossed 16months mark".
Ellained, my suggestion DO NOT CALL THEM unless you pass 16 months. I called them before getting medical request and got yelled - "You will get your medical request letter when it will be produced".
Regarding EE, it will be lots of headache + expenses:
Language test $300
Med exam $300
Application fee $550
Landing fee $490
Again, EE is like green card in USA - u are lucky and they invite you to apply. U have lower score and u sit in pool.
Nobody guarantees that u will get EE in 6 months.
The benefit of EE is that u can get Bridging Open Work Permit (if postgrad work permit expires)
Through PNP, it is way harder, u need to apply for closed work permit (if Postgrad work permit expires) and get letter from province and employer. this is harder.
I suggest to stay with PNP
