Hi Seniors,
I hope you could help me with this. My score points in OID is 60/100 as of now. I am hesitant if I need to include the last job which is from March 2006 to July 2007. I cannot request anymore for updated Reference letter since the company has already moved to other location. The only proof I have for the job is an old Reference letter dated 2007 without job description.
Do I have to declare it in OID application. It will only add up to 1 point in my score, (61/100). Or can I just ignore it and be contented with my 60/100 score. In case I will include it, and cannot provide updated reference letter, will it invalidate my application?
Another question, is the work experience requirement should be continuous? Say for example in 9 years, I don't have job for around 2 months. Will they consider it nine years work experience or will it fall for 8 years experience?
If I will apply for OID this April, do they also count my work experience for this year 2017(Jan 2017 - March 2017)?

Keep in mind, Sharp 60 is also doubtful. In addition, it is useless from March, 2006 to July, 2007. It is more than 10 years old.Dante DM said:

Their way of counting is, from 1st April, 2016 to 31st March, 2017 as 1 year, you will get 2 points. Even 11 months and 29 days means 0 Point.

Seems like scoring Exp. points is only possible if you had same employer from 1st April, xxxx to 31st March, xxx. Switch company/employer generally have 1-2 days of Gap like for me as shown below:

26th April 2010 to 29th June 2012 = 1 Years
29th June 2009 to 23rd April 2010 = 0
3rd Sep 2007 to 26th June 2009 = 1
17th May 2007 to 1st Sep 2007 = 0

24th Jan 2005 to 31st Jan 2007 = 1
1st Mar 2004 to 21st Jan 2005 = 0

In My case I have changed employers and have gap of 2-3 days while joining which makes it 11 months and 29 days means 0 Point
But may be they consider this changing time. YOu have to try it. By the way, they often understand the circumstances, because they are also human.Vaibhav.goel85 said:
