I was with a company for 7 years. In those 7 years I held 4 different positions. I have entered them as 4 Work-Exp items in the SINP Oasis application. My employer has issued a single reference letter that gives the details of each position with the corresponding time period (along with duties, salary).
1) Can I upload the same letter for all 4 positions OR should I get 4 different letters from my employer?
I was in a similar situation. I obtained one letter from my employer with the breakup of each position. I uploaded the same letter for each work experience, with a letter of explanation stating why I was doing it.
2) Do I need reference letters for employment older than 10 years?
No.
3) During one time period, I held 2 positions (each mapping to a different NOC code). I was doing 32 hrs/week for first position and 8 hrs/week for the second position. Do I need to enter the second position in the online SINP application as it will create a time-overlap and it does not have any field to enter hours/week?
You cannot overlap positions as far as I know. If this 32 hrs/week is in your main NOC, use that, and then in the letter of explanation explain the remaining 8 hrs.
4) If I am not sure about the NOC code, to what email ID can I send my reference letters for clarification?
If you write to noc@workingincanada.gc.ca, they will suggest the best fit. Include your job title, duties and responsibilities and qualification.
