Thanks ashu....since OID is expected to open after 1/2/3 months and i am planning to receive the job reference letter from my current employer this month,is there any issue if OID opens in the month of june(suppose) and my current employer mention the experience certificate till March ?What proofs i need to provide for rest of months.e.g.Payslips...

Hello,

My wife and I got VISA recently through SINP Nomination Programme and we need to travel before July 2017.

We both are working in IT and started applying for jobs through Linkedin and few other sites however could not see enough jobs for our profile (Process/Quality Assurance, Project Management & Business Analyst).

I have below questions:

1> Are there any sites through which we can apply for jobs in Saskatchewan?
2> If we get a job in Saskatchewan, for how long one needs to work there and can then shift to other Province?
3> If we dont get a job in Saskatchewan, is there a provision/law to work in other Province?

Looking for a response.

Can move after few months, explaining some concrete reasons. By showing some proof that had applied in many places, but no job was found. The nostrils of starving have come.

I was with a company for 7 years. In those 7 years I held 4 different positions. I have entered them as 4 Work-Exp items in the SINP Oasis application. My employer has issued a single reference letter that gives the details of each position with the corresponding time period (along with duties, salary).

1) Can I upload the same letter for all 4 positions OR should I get 4 different letters from my employer?

2) Do I need reference letters for employment older than 10 years?

3) During one time period, I held 2 positions (each mapping to a different NOC code). I was doing 32 hrs/week for first position and 8 hrs/week for the second position. Do I need to enter the second position in the online SINP application as it will create a time-overlap and it does not have any field to enter hours/week?

4) If I am not sure about the NOC code, to what email ID can I send my reference letters for clarification?

I was in a similar situation. I obtained one letter from my employer with the breakup of each position. I uploaded the same letter for each work experience, with a letter of explanation stating why I was doing it.

2) Do I need reference letters for employment older than 10 years?
No.

You cannot overlap positions as far as I know. If this 32 hrs/week is in your main NOC, use that, and then in the letter of explanation explain the remaining 8 hrs.

If you write to noc@workingincanada.gc.ca, they will suggest the best fit. Include your job title, duties and responsibilities and qualification.

Hello,

My wife & I got Canada Visa (Saskatchewan Province) which is expiring in July 2017.

We cant go there for long term as of now.

Can we both go there for 1-2 weeks,apply for PR and provide a local address and come back?

Once PR Card arrives, our relative can courier us that?

Then we can go to Canada later whenever we want to?

Is the above option possible?
