HI DiNaV,

You should try in OID if your EE has no hope. OID is also good and if your EE is taking more than normal time to get nomination (I see some of candidates not hearing from SINP - EE since 4+ months) then it is worth trying to be on safe side.

Their post-nomination approx processing time is 16 months. They have clearly mentioned that the time shown is based on application processed recently. It could be different.

For example in my case they could have taken 6 months to process the OID but they did in 22 days. So, we never know what is going to happen with processing.

And after all, there is no harm applying in both and once any one of them is started getting near to result, withdraw one of them. That's the best gamble.

I hope this helps.

Thanks,
Parth

Thanks parthvdesai. Appreciate it.

Hey guys ............................

The International Skilled Worker – Occupations In-Demand sub-category is opened to new applications at this time....please submit your application.

ALL the best!!!!

HUrrryyyyyyyy upppppppppppppp!!!!! :D ;) :)

I created my application with intended job code as 2171. However when I click on "Create Next Set" it shows that the profile is in Express entry. How do I make the profile to go for OID?

Can I try in OID too? Do you think that would be a good idea since I got this "Application Ineligible" in SINP EE?

Can you tell me whats the difference between OID & EE. What are the criteria's to be fulfilled for it....etc etc. Or maybe share a reference link or something that would explain it all.

Thanks.
Apply for OID but do look for other provinces too.
It could be that you are well versed with provincial nominations but when i started with the process of Canada immigration i was not having any idea of it, for a few months it was just Express entry. By the time i learnt about provincial nomination, good many months were lost by that time.
Also, one can apply to more than one province at one time, make use of it. I had applied to OINP before SINP but never heard from them. SINP meanwhile processed my application and i went ahead with it.
Having said the above, it holds only if you are ok with settling in any province of Canada.

Guys,

Can any one share me a editable supplementary travel info form now..? I am finding online a Secured version which I cannot edit. Request you to please share it ASAP

Hi Guys,

hi
can somebody say that we have to apply in EE first and then in-demand occupation or not ?
because if it is in EE then need 6 in ielts.

thanks

it depends on your ielts, if it is CLB 7 and above and you have ECA, you can apply EE or OID. But if it is below CLB 7, then have no choice but OID. They both have the same NOC requirement.

In the "Job offer/Employment" section you need to select "No" for the question that asks for your express entry profile number. It will be treated as OID application.

All the best !!!!!!
