Application fees will not be refunded by CIC in case of rejections. However, if you have paid right to Permanent residence along with the application then you will get the refund of only right to permanent residence fees.

Really? Are you sure? Because it says otherwise:

Incomplete applications

If an application is found to be incomplete, the processing office must reject the application, as follows:

promote and then “cancel” the application in GCMS, with the application status reason listed as “incomplete application”;
in GCMS, note the reason(s) for having rejected the application; and
repay all fees associated with the application (i.e., the cost recovery fee and the Right of Permanent Residence Fee, as applicable).

When an application is rejected as incomplete, the applicant must submit a new Express Entry profile in their MyCIC account to be considered for any future rounds of invitations.

I believe it depends on "why" and at what stage the applicaiton is rejected. if it is rejected upfront, you get the fees back

Hi One_Topsy,
i am facing same situation as got rejection from CIC due to PCC, so while re creating EE profile, if we mention SK nomination then no need to create job bank validation code? Pls confirm
I don't think you need job bank if you indicate you have PN.

I think registration in Job bank has no effect.

Guys, my application status is ineligible now. They mentioned "you need to maintain proof of settlement funds thru out last 3 months and I was lacking 200-300 $ for few days". I am planning to apply on the next opening. My question is "Should I create my application using my same profile login as now it's giving me to start a new application process or should I create a very new profile in OASIS"?

Hi Guys, please help me on this...

I'm not sure it makes a difference. if the current profile allows you to create a new application - go ahead. Otherwise create a new profile.
Have in mind you need to declare this rejection and give details.

Sorry to hear abdulqayyum bhai, CIC should have given you chance to upload the corrected PCC rather than turning your application down straight away.

I know it is quite daunting procedure to do the whole process from scratch. is it possible to ask CIC to give you chance to address your PCC issue and upload the corrected one??

Thanks bhai for the concern, i wish if i could know any procedure to request to CIC, i even don't know CIC email address for communication, unlike to SNIP, SK has email address where correspondence can be initiated.

does anybody has draft of letter which is sent to SINP for revision and succeeded?

Hi Topsy ,

Yes if the application is rejected for being incomplete refund will be there , But rejection due to address not matching with PCC is not the case of incomplete application .

i got rejected due to address not matched with PCC, now in mycic homepage, the status is 'cancelled due to incomplete'
in rejection letter it is mentioned that all the amount will be refunded as application is being rejected by CIC
However, so far, no amount returned in my bank account.

I am not able to understand how PCC address could be Different from Passport address. Please through some light on the issue so it would be beneficial for other members also .

My PCC address is as same as passport, in my case as per my understanding following mistake happened.

i am working as an expat outside of home country for last 2 years, i did mentioned in personal activity history while filling CIC online forms, whereas the PCC which i got from home country mentioning the duration starting from birthdate to till date covering the t ime span of my out of country stay as well. i think this became of the reason.

what you guys says?
