My Friends,
I checked and there is a very good news for all of us!

CIO processing time is reduced from almost 5 months to 2 months and 1 week!

PNP applications have received by CIO on 25 FEB 2014 could receive AOR on 1 MAY 2015! Waiting time is only 2 months and 1 week (64days)!

We can hope this waiting time reduces more and more in the future. ;)

Check this:

Wow, have really missed a lot in this forum. Thanks Victor papa for this information, I should be expecting my AOR with XEP number this month then by God's grace.

Victor and Whoever sending or sent the application to CIO,
Please verify my list of documents for 3 member family(including myself). Just trying to get another pair of eyes to spot any issues.

Document checklist
Generic Application Form to Canada (IMM 0008) - principal applicant
Schedule A: Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) - principal applicant
Schedule A: Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) - spouse
Supplementary Information - Your Travels (IMM 5562) - principal applicant
Schedule 4: Economic Classes - Provincial Nominees - principal applicant
Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) - principal applicant
Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) - Spouse
Travel documents and passports - Principal applicant, spouse, child
Proof of Language Proficiency - Principal applicant (i assume this is optional for us)
Identity and Civil Status Documents - Birth certificates - Principal applicant, spouse
Children's Information - Children's birth certificate - Child
Police Certificates and Clearances - Principal applicant and spouse for all countries of stay 6+ months
Photos - six (6) photos for each member - Principal applicant, spouse, child
Fee payment in an acceptable format - receipt printed
2 self-addressed mailing labels

So there is no need for attaching the Certificate of Nomination as they are not asking on it? Wrong

And No certified copies of any documents, correct?

You need to attach the nomination letter. It is on Checklist

Hi
I think they will put severity on this matter when the translator wasn't an official one. When translator is an official then everything should be OK.

If you look at the document checklist it mentioned in the previous paragraph of the "Note" section:
"If your documents are not in English or French, send a notarized (certified) translation with a copy of the original version"

Then as you mentioned in your case, translated documents with both translator and notary's seal and sign on them, will totally cover their requests.
But about those documents, translated by the same translator of your other documents then it seems affidavit and public notary's certification is not very important because the signature of the same translator certified in other documents.
I suggest you to send them your PCC with full affidavit and notary certification because it will be the most important document for them to check your security and background check! ;)

At the end, I think it will be your application's officer's decision, how to accept/put severity on those things! But don't worry my friend, everything should be OK and they will never return applications base on these matters. ;) ;D

Thank you Victor

These are the exact fields, payer must fill in receipt paper by hand:

Name (System will put that in the printed receipt automatically)
Client date of birth
Client ID
Address
Postal Code
Area Code
Telephone No

Victor papa, it is not stated on either the form or the checklist that these information are important. I would appreciate a reference to your information. I don't know why they are required anyway since you attached the unique receipt to your application.

The website instruction is a bit controversial. It says

The e-payment receipt must be filled out by hand prior to submitting it with the application. The “Payer Information” fields must match the cardholder's information entered at the time of the payment.

The “Client date of birth” and “Client ID” must be those of the principal applicant.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=944&t=4

So, in that section only the date of birth & UCI Number ( if any ) should be principal applicants and address and phone number should matched with the cardholder.

However if the payment is already gone through than this section is quite ignorable to them. Doesn't matter if you put wrong address or anything. :)

I did not provide all these information anyway since my name is in the payer section and does not even see the importance of the information to them. It should have been stated on the receipt if they are important. I believe the reference number is sufficient for them to verify payment. I hope my application is not returned because of this.

Dear future Saskatchewanian,

Just to share one good news as we all are planning to move to Saskatchewan.

I am SINP 2014 applicant. I received my medical request today from Manila office. I mentioned my visa office as "Singapore" but my file was transferred to "Manila". This is quite fast. Within 25 days of AOR, I got my medical request.

Thanks.

Congrats, are you currently living in Manila, or are you from Phillipines and what day did CIC office received your application? I can deduce you got a feedback from CIC in April 2015. Cheers

Thank you everyone for congratulating me.

I am currently living in Bangladesh. My file received to CIC office on Oct 31, 2014 and AOR received on April 10, 2015. I sent an enquiry on March and CIC replied 2 days ago. In that mail they informed that my file has been transferred to Manila office for processing.
