Hi Bro, Congrats for the review of your app. I wish you success in it and inshaallah(by the wish of God) you will get your nomination this time.
Plz see if the total amount in CAD was converted as of new exchange rate.
Also if you can share your total points mentioned in the application.
If you put multiple accounts info, see if all are converted in CAD with new ex.rate .
I believe that there must be mistake happened by the sinp.
Plz share the above mentioned info if you can.
Best of luck.

Thx brother.

CAD amount was converted on january for only one of my bank statements (the one that made me ineligible). For the other 3 statements, the currency exchange rate was the one I provided back in december 2014.
My total amount of points is 66 out of 100.

Here is the breakdown of my points:
  • Education & Training: 20 - University Degree that required at least three years of full-time study Skilled Work Experience
  • Work Experience from the most recent FIVE years prior to application: 10 - 5 years
  • Work Experience from the SIX to TEN year time period prior to application: 4 - 4 years
  • Age: 12 pts - 22-34
  • Language: 20 points (CLB 8 or higher)

I even wrote to the minister of immigration from the Saskatchewan Government, Mr. Jeremy Harrison, besides writing to Christa Ross, director of economic immigration and Tracy Davies, manager of the same office, and the person responsible for sending me the ineligible letter (supposedly the one that made the final decision).

I've made my case pretty, PRETTY clear to them. I hope they take that into consideration. If not, there's nothing else that can be done.

I really hope you success in your application

To understand you sent to them 4 statements.

let's say

Account 1 $1000
Account 2 $1000
Account 3 $500
Account 4 $500
___________
Total 3000 (let's say that this amount is enough to cover your application.)

In every Account did you have the funds from October to December, or only in one of them?

On 3 of those 4 statements the balance was from october to december. All of the together make a grand total of CAD 10.2 k.
The other account had balance only from december (roughly CAD 6k). Alongside this statement, I've sent them a letter (original uploaded document when I submitted the application on jan 2nd) explaining that I had about U$ 4k at home, in cash, which I then exchanged back into brazilian reals due to exchange rates getting higher in Brazil. I had those dollars as some sort of investment, which actually paid off. I got more brazilian reals after that exchange then what I used to buy those dollars. Made a profit. If I had converted them back to reals on september, just to deposit on the account, I would have lost money, and wouldn't even have enough to make the minimum funds required by SINP.

I've sent them, today, the statements for this account, from december/14 to april/15, proving that the amount is still there. I've even deposited more money to that savings account, during these months, so the balance is even higher. SINP requires CAD 15.5k, and I have about 17-18k now, which is about 2k over the minimum required.

Actually, all of my accounts got deposits on the mean time, with the exception of one (which is a frozen savings account, in which I can only make withdraws), so I have way more money than SINP requires. The plan is to bring, for landing, almost twice as much as SINP requires, just to be on the safe side.

Hoping for the best

They only took into account this "On 3 of those 4 statements the balance was from october to december. All of the together make a grand total of CAD 10.2 k", because they don't believe you that you have money in cash...

Don't you have some proof where the cash came ? (the sell of a house, a car, etc)

Again I really hope you manage to convince them that you had the cash in September. All the best for you.

Just got this from SINP

Do anyone here got a change in the online application in the skilled worker points criteria other than what was filled during the submission of the application?

Not for me. Did they recalculate for experience or education? What is the point difference?

How do they calculate bank balances?

I asked them to consider additional bank account bank4 because i transferred money from bank4 to bank3 during the period oct to dec 2014. I assumed they would consider the total balance of money transferred to bank3 but they did not consider bank3 (more than 5000$ from Nov till date) and included only bank4 (less than 1000$ from Dec till date). They updated CAD equivalent except for bank3 which is totaling 19k (for total 3 persons included in application).

Very strict process.

They need a bank account that has money from October to December 2014. (That's the reason they consider bank 4, because this
account has movements in October, the withdraw that you made)

Since Bank 3, doesn't have movements until November is not eligible, why?, because they believe that
you obtained the money to deposit in November from someone else.

They could think this guy made a withdraw to pay something or someone, not necessarily to deposit this money in Bank 3.
