Did you do CSE to SGVO, what's happening to your file?

Last week, he did Case Specific Enquiry and got reply from SGVO. Here's the reply

Thank you for your message to the High Commission of Canada, Immigration & Visa Section.

We do our best to make sure everyone who has applied to immigrate to or visit Canada is provided with effective service.

We receive an enormous amount of correspondence daily. Although we would like to respond to all of it, we recognize that it takes resources away from processing applications.

To minimize the impact that replying to enquiries has on processing times, we respond only to correspondence from people who have already applied for a permanent resident (immigration) or temporary resident (visitor, temporary work, study) visa or permit.

Kindly note that we are not able to acknowledge receipt of documents, changes of address, and other case-related information. We can assure you, however, that it will be placed on file.

If your message concerns one of the issues below, this is the only reply you will receive. Otherwise, we will reply to your specific questions within a service standard of one month.

Actually I received the same email 2 months ago and after this I received another email by which they have informed me that my application is under process.

nothing more

Good news is that you've got your application is under process. What does mean by that? How about your e-cas status? Is it still, application received or in process?

It is in process, as it was 28 months before, without any changes

Don't you get medical request yet? If not, how come it is in process? Exactly, what does e-cas status says.

Once I did medical exams on Nov 2011, my status: " medical results have been received".

The delay for my case refers to file transfer from Malaysia VO to SVO.

That's mean, you did medical back in Nov 2011. You're being delay because of file transfer from Malaysia to Singapore. Why did you or they transfer your file Malaysia to Singapore?

In Dec 2011 all files were transferred to SVO. this action provided problems for SVO and caused this very very long processing timeline for us.

I see. Did you get medical request from Malaysia or Singapore?

That's a positive sign they will transfer your files to CEM.

Here's my timeline for my file transfer for your reference:
10/22/12 - sent request to sgvo for file transfer
10/29/12 - sgvo replied that they are seeking CEM's concurrence to accept our files
11/4/12 - sent inquiry to CEM if they are willing to accept our files
11/6/12 - cem replied that they are willing to accept or files & they sent formal request
to sgvo for the transfer of our files
11/20/12 - sgvo confirmed the transfer of our files to cem upon inquiry
12/23/12 - cem confirmed receipt of our files on 11/29/12 upon inquiry
1/06/13 - received MR & RPRF

Good Luck for the transfer of your files.

@ Milsrome thank you so much for sharing your timeline and experience. Did you get a Passport request already?

Mine around 2 weeks i think when I received confirmation from SGVO that my files were transferred to CEM. Then after that, a month later for the MR.

But my long awaited MR (19 months) looks like I will be having a problem. Because my daughter is a special one (global development delay). She's 10 and looks normal on her appearance. But her learning ability is in the age of 5 or 6 yrs old and now studying in a special school here in Singapore. And just recently come to know about the immigration policy for inadmissibility due to excessive demand on Canada's health or social services. This will end my family's Canada dream. Still crossing fingers as we are still waiting for my daughter's medical report from the dev specialist in KKH. :(

@ boggz, thank you so much for sharing your timeline and experience. I am sorry to hear about your problem...I hope you still get to achieve your Canada dream...

Today, I received the email from Canadian Embassy in Manila for the request for Medical exam, Singapore police certificate and payment of RPRF within 60 days. I am soooo happy! Finally, there is something to look forward now :)

by the way, @Milsrome, did you do your medicals in Singapore or Manila? Also, how did you pay the RPRF, from Singapore or Manila?
