I'm a PR here. I applied last oct 2013 under family stream MPNP.waiting for my sponsors interview.

seems like processing move much faster if you are in family class sponsorship. it's not moving for provincial nomination. The waiting time is horrid....

by the way, @ Milsrome, did you do your medicals in Singapore or Manila? Also, how did you pay the RPRF, from Singapore or Manila?

Sorry for my late reply.

We did our medicals in SG and paid our RPRF from SG thru bankdraft then sent the cheque to CEM.

Congrats for having MR, RPRF & POC request. Ur near the finish line.

I bought my bank draft through my POSB acct.
If you have acct in POSB/DBS, you can get from them with $10
fee.

lol, nusrat, my application received SGVO at 11 october 2011, but status showed "application received" yet. just waiting for "in process" then only allah knows when they will request me for further

Same to my Bro-in-law's case. Applied SGVO Sep 11 2011, still Application Received.

It's just not right to put people's life on hold for so long!! It's actually pretty terrible!! We haven't really heard anyone's application being processed in the past few months. Awful awful awful..... Hopefully the Singapore VO officers are really looking at our files now and not out partying too hard. I just went to the office recently and guess what? They are only opened every Wednesday from 830am till 930am for enquiries. Rest of the time, it looks closed on the outside.... It used to be opened Monday till Friday morning, then they cut to 3 days in a week and now only one hour a week. It's really terrible.... I just don't get why other visa office is able to process it at a much shorter timeframe than in Singapore.... It has been 4.5 years since I applied for Alberta's nomination...
