I received pp and visa + corp today, after a very long process, mixed feeling, anyway, for those still waiting, i wish good news will come soon, processing time will be shortened , not like me and ffarin... I will still be here to support you guys and of course, to take care timeline sheet for us.

Congratulations to those who have gotten their VISA and even to those who have progress in their application.

I sent a request on 28 Nov 2013 to SGVO to transfer my file for processing to CEM on 28 Nov 2013 thru their case specific online request page. I have not received a reply from them, it's been 6 weeks already. So today I sent a follow up thru Case specific onlline page and I received an automated email receipt. I did not receive this automatic reply when I requested it on 28 Nov so perhaps my request was not sent?!

For those who requested file transfer, how long did SGVO reply to your request?

I feel so hopeless

"If you want to transfer your file to Manila, please provide your permanent address in Philippines. This will enable Manila Visa Office to contact you for information and/or interview, if the file is transferred."

I hope this is progress!

Mine around 2 weeks i think when I received confirmation from SGVO that my files were transferred to CEM. Then after that, a month later for the MR.

But my long awaited MR (19 months) looks like I will be having a problem. Because my daughter is a special one (global development delay). She's 10 and looks normal on her appearance. But her learning ability is in the age of 5 or 6 yrs old and now studying in a special school here in Singapore. And just recently come to know about the immigration policy for inadmissibility due to excessive demand on Canada's health or social services. This will end my family's Canada dream. Still crossing fingers as we are still waiting for my daughter's medical report from the dev specialist in KKH.

Here's my timeline for my file transfer for your reference:
10/22/12 - sent request to sgvo for file transfer
10/29/12 - sgvo replied that they are seeking CEM's concurrence to accept our files
11/4/12 - sent inquiry to CEM if they are willing to accept our files
11/6/12 - cem replied that they are willing to accept or files & they sent formal request
to sgvo for the transfer of our files
11/20/12 - sgvo confirmed the transfer of our files to cem upon inquiry
12/23/12 - cem confirmed receipt of our files on 11/29/12 upon inquiry
1/06/13 - received MR & RPRF

Is it possible to transfer file from SGVO to Beijing VO? My country of origin is Bangladesh. I am expected to stay in Beijing for 2 years. Anybody could make some comments regarding this issue.
