. Must u contact with kualalumpur first. If possible, meet in person. Explain them the current scenario. Look if they can help anymore. Then contact sgvo again. Keep patience. All the best.

You should contact Malaysia CIC office since you found out the news from CIC website, not from Malaysia CIC office officially, maybe the files are in process and still in Malaysia CIC office for processing.

I'm not sure what is happening to my file right now. Is they still transferring the Malaysia file to Singapore or they never review my file at all in Malaysia?

This afternoon received a shocking news from Singapore Visa Office. They told me that can't locate any record of my application and ask me re-submit my application to Sydney office!!!!!! Are they kidding!!!!!!! After 10 months said my file was lost! I have been wait for so long and now they gave me this ridiculous answer!!!!!

I submitted my file in person in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They issued a Receipt of Document for me to proof that they already received my file. I thought submitted the file In person is the most safety way to make sure my file reach their office. But now why! Why they said couldn't found my file in their system and ask me re-submit again!!!! All the documents already expired like IELTS, MPNP Letter of Approved and other docs as well . This is not my fault! They request the applicant do not call to check the processing status but this doesnt mean that they can simply lost my file!!!!! It's not fair!

Is there anyone know what should I do now? I keep contact Singapore office and glad that they did reply me. The next is I wanna contact Kuala Lumpur Visa Office see whether they still let me go into their office or not.

Any idea to solve this problem? Since I can submitted my file means I'm qualify. They lost my file and request me to re-submit. I'm so disappointed right now. Thought another 1 year can get my visa. But now all my hope was ruined!!!!!!!

Thanks Taivoi. I really feel panic, worry and depressed when they told me can't find my file. Felt like drop into a deep hole and never can climb back again. The feeling is hard to describe. Like what you said I got their receipt, so my file won't simply just disappear like this.

I don't know why this happen on me but still got to keep going on contact them to figur out how to solve this problem.

Hi all,

For your information, last week I, personally went to SG Visa office and asked regarding about my status, one lady who was sitting on the reception told me that they don't have right to answer whatever information about PR application status, and asked me to send email to them. Today (09-July-2012) morning I emailed to Singapore Visa Office about my case, I received reply from them on same day (about 6:22pm SG time)as per below.

Thank you for your message to the High Commission of Canada, Immigration & Visa Section.

We do our best to make sure everyone who has applied to immigrate to or visit Canada is provided with effective service.
We receive an enormous amount of correspondence daily. Although we would like to respond to all of it, we recognize that it takes resources away from processing applications.

To minimize the impact that replying to enquiries has on processing times, we respond only to correspondence from people who have already applied for a permanent resident (immigration) or temporary resident (visitor, temporary work, study) visa or permit.

Kindly note that we are not able to acknowledge receipt of documents, changes of address, and other case-related information. We can assure you, however, that it will be placed on file. If your message concerns one of the issues below, this is the only reply you will receive. Otherwise, we will reply within a service standard of 28 days.

Application forms:
All the information required to apply for a visa for Canada is available on our website, and the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website. Please visit the websites to download complete application kits and instructions for all types of visas and permits.

Case status:
If you are enquiring about an application in process and it is still within our normal processing times, this is the only reply you will receive. You may wish to consult Client Application Status (for permanent resident applications) or VFS (for temporary resident applications from Bangladesh). You may use our secure web site to submit additional information including attachments and requests for withdrawal or urgent processing.

Reconsideration of refusals:
Please be advised that we do not reconsider a decision once the case has been refused. If the applicant feels that he or she has new or additional information that was not previously available for consideration or if the applicant's situation has changed, he or she may submit a new application and pay a new processing fee. For more information see the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) publication "Temporary Resident Visa: What to do if an application is refused."

General information:
If you do not have an application in process, you will not receive a reply to your enquiry. If you are seeking general information about immigrating, visiting, or living in Canada, the following websites will provide you with all the basic information you will need.
Citizenship and Immigration Canada's website will give you information on the different immigration options available to you and your family, and give you access to application kits and forms.
