Hahaha! I was really expecting to get some positive feedback by end of this year at least. Provided that I have heard that a few of the February applicants have already got a decision. Anyways lets keep our hope high that SVO would soon start our file. :)

I'm also a March applicant and I figured our case would be straightforward. Lived together for almost 3 years, have a daughter and soon to be 2nd child together. But it seems they haven't even peeked at our files though they did approve an April applicant''s sponsorship and seem to be working on other April applicant files too.

Maybe they thought April comes before March.

I have tried to find a pattern with these guys but im slowly coming to the conclusion that there's simply none. Different officers handle case differently, different scenarios for different apps ect...Believe me, it's very confusing. The one thing that is constant though is we all need PATIENCE!

Yes, can't agree more! Sometimes its frustrating to see someone who have applied later than you get decision made whereas SVO even haven't started working on your application.

Bdw, if i am not mistaken, I have seen some post who was an April Applicant and didn't get anything on his GCMS note o August, but suddenly got ppr this month. I hope this might be the cases for others as well. I guess they don't update much for the outland applicants as much as they do for the inland one.

Passport has been couriered from the Canada Visa Application Centre.

Possible landing on Oct 7. :)

Yes it was me.

Here is my latest notes.

NOTES: 7
Text: File received in Spore from CPC-Mississauga. Basic information updated. AOR letter sent to PA via Auto-email(xxxxx@xxxx.com). Passport-sized photos meet up the specifications. 1) CPC-M/ System date: 22/04/2016 2) Spore V/O date: 20/06/2016

This were generated on Aug 23, I received on Sep 11.

On Sep 21, received PPR out of the blue.

I don't have enough knowledge about GCMS notes. I am not certain if it contains real-time update.

My husband reached today in BD safely.
so, time is going more relaxable.
☺☺☺

My GCMS notes say passport-sized photos do not meet specification. (I didn't send any). So maybe they were going to request passport from me?

I sent in the passport-sized photos by courier after my GCMS notes but don't know if they received it.

We have pretty much similar information on our GCMS note. I guess they don't update the notes as much as they do for the inland applications. We have tried calling the call center of the IRCC as well, but they said that they do not have access to oitland applications except few general information update. But anyways you and your wife is pretty lucky to have the ppr within 5 months. I am really happy for you guyz. I hope all of us waiting would hear some good news pretty soon. :)

Stentorian, I have a question. When you had background check changed to "In Process" did you get any email notification? or you just went in MyCIC and noticed the change?
I know you got an email regarding PPR

A background check - just changed from Not Started to In Progress

Hi everyone,

I still am not able to link my wifes's application. I have sent 2 requests to the Technical difficulites link and they have responded, the latest is this:

Sir, Madam,

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. I am pleased to follow up on your request:

In order to link your application to your new MyCIC account, click on the Link application to this account button from your MyCIC account welcome page.

Once on the Link an existing application to this account page, you must select the Permanent Residence category and this sub-category:

Family Class (Spouses)

We compared your answers with your initial application and you have made an error in the following field(s):

UCI

You should now be able to link your application to your new account.

I have double and triple checked the UCI number and still it will not link.

So, to be clear, I'm using my wifes GCKEY account ( she is the applicant, I'm the sponsor), Permanent resident, Family class (spouses), the UCI number that is on all the emails I have received regarding my sponsor approval and the email saying the application was forwarded to Singapore.

It will not link. What do you think I'm doing wrong? Should I be using my CGKEY account?

Thanks
