Hey guys, I am in the process of downloading my facebook chat history with my wife and I have over 2000 pages of chat history to send for additional proof. Is it a good idea to print and send the all these pages to SVO?

That is a lot of paper!! I had 150 pages of Viber messages. Sent the first several pages and the last several pages. Told them I got all of it if needed. Did the same with BBM messages.

No.

Pick and choose a couple convos per month and state you have 2000 pages if they want more.

Thanks for your response htquach and ImABule. I will just pick a select few per month to print and send. My dad was calling me crazy for wanting to print that many pages ;D.

To bad I already ordered the paper and toners on amazon. I guess I can use it for the future lol.

Note: I am bringing the stacks of pages to the interview though. Forgive me for killing a tee, but it may get the PR approved. Plus, there is no FedEx costs to bring the paper to Ho Chi Minh City.

A moment of silence for those god dam trees. We appreciate the sacrifice. :'(

Big congrats. I was curious if your situation was similar to mines living with wife and having a baby together so I checked out your profile. Says you joined 2012 and did a family sponsorship or is that someone else?

Do you mind sharing a bit about your situation just so we have an idea what Singapore VO is looking for. Things like did you live with your wife before and during the sponsorship application process, how long you've known each other before getting married and if you have any kids together.

No. In 2012 I came here in Canada as dependent child with my Parents.

This time around I am sponsoring my wife.

I saw quite a few Singapore applicants are in interview queue. I thought they will put my wife in interview as well. Here is my situation -

- We didn't know each other for a long time before our marriage. Our marriage is arranged marriage.
- I landed in BD in middle of January, first meeting was after 4/5 days of landing. Got married on 1st week of Feb. I came back at end of Feb
- 9 years of age difference.
- I think anyone except South Asian wouldn't believe that 2 persons can decide to marry just knowing for 2 weeks. I thought this would be a RED FLAG.
- Further we only stayed together for around 3 weeks.

I submitted following as proof of relationship.

- Both Marriage Certificate & Marriage Deeds
- Photos: Engagement, Wedding, Reception, Honeymoon, Photos together with family member
- Phone bills showing number dialed, Whatsapp Chats (export), Whatsapp call logs (screenshot), Facebook profile link, email etc.
- Money exchange receipt (sent money)
- Honeymoon trip - Hotel Receipt
- Airline Ticket, Boarding pass
- My parents also visited to attend my marriage. Included tickets.

I see in this forum that people submit lots of stuff as proof of their long-lasting relationship. Compared to them I provided nothing
I was bit worried as our relationship profile is very short in terms of duration.
I think that particular officer was mainly focusing on whether marriage was genuine or not.

I don't know how but he/she was convinced that marriage is genuine. He didn't look into for how long our relationship is and how we are continuing.

Again every officer has different perspective. If my case was looked by a different officer it could have been something different

me also a bangladeshi applicant. but in interview queue.

nyway do u mind to share how many proofs u provided? did u send ongoing relation proof?

Look into my other post.

Thanks for sharing stentorian. Just confirms the inconsistency in how SVO assesses these files. It appears to be quite subjective and we are all at the whim of the officer assigned to us.

With that said, I am very happy that you got the right officer!! Congrats on the FAST PPR!!!!!!

On the bright side, at least you didn't have to wait anywhere near the 24 months for interview, yours was only like 2 months. Hope it turns out well.

· A detailed descriptions of the genesis and development of your relationship. For example, detailed descriptions of the circumstances of your first meeting, as well as, detailed information about the development of your relationship after your first meeting/contact (This may include information pre-marriage, marriage, and post-marriage).

These questions are generally answered in : Sponsored Spouse/Partner Questionnaire [IMM 5490] form. Looks like you didn’t provide enough information

For the proof of relationship: It’s always good to submit whatever you have. Decision is varied case by case as well as Visa officer who is reviewing file.

Absolutely mikeymyke. We are very grateful to get the interview date so quick. We were expecting six months to a year, if not longer.

Thanks for the interview well wishes. We are going through the list of questions together for now and the wife will practice with her friends. Hope we get the happy, early morning officer!

Think what the VO is thinking as he/she goes through your application. Do they really want to know the content? I think they just want to see proof of your timeline and any gaps they will question.

I arrange my communication with emphasis on showing the dates. Give them snippets and at the end write down if they want the full content you'd gladly provide it.

Our marriage was arranged and I put much detail as possible from first to last I included 2 extra pages... guess it wasn't enough. Anyway on the bright side I am glad they just didn't put me in the interview queue.
