I guess the good news is it took about 30 days for the notes to arrive. So there may have been some action in the last month???

Anywho, gonna order new notes in a couple of weeks.

What's the date they were pulled from the system?

My due date is June 1 for mine. I'll order them again the same day.

May 3, 2016

I recently submitted additional information and will send another case specific to correct information in the GCMS notes. Gonna give them two weeks and then order again. Very curious to see how case specific information is captured.

I like your due date system. I should mark these dates in my calendar!!!

Haha, I know exactly when I should get them lol.

I ordered mine May 2. I guess they processed your request faster lol

Received all evidences back and letter dated May 18 2016 that "your file has been placed in our interview queue..." :(

It's such a bad day :( :(

Does anybody know how long I can have the schedule for interview from the date I got that letter? We're both feel very blue now :(

I did order my GCMS on May 20 2016 to see what happend to my file

Sorry to hear ThunderBay_vn.

From what I have read on here, the interview queue is 24 months. SVO will notify you as the interview date gets closer. Again, this based on information in these forums. Senior users may be able to provide more information.

Sorry to hear that ThunderBay_vn.

In the Vietnamese facebook page for spousal sponsorship, I have seen some people have schedule for the interview in 9-14 months (people who applied in 2014 & 2015). Hope you will hear some news soon.

Could you share with us your GCMS note and any red flag you can think about?

Hi there,

They will notify you by email before four weeks of the interview. No one can predict when they will inform but the present trend of SVO indicates that you may get the intimation within six months or even earlier. I would recommend please address your red flags and send them additional relationship proofs. Also prepare yourself well for the interview.

Also please check this thread from time to time for in depth information and help:

Good luck!

Sorry thunderbay_vn. I feel blue for you too. Did they initially ask you to provide more proof or documentation at all? It almost seems too soon to place you in an interview queue. I applied a month before you And still haven't heard anything :(

Ive actually noticed a lot of SVO applicants who are required to go to an interview recieve the letter within a month or two of file transfer.

it's been about 3 months since my file transfer, according to the MP's office the eligibility is in progress right now. it's a little unnerving but i'm hoping before making any decisions they'll ask for more proof in case I didn't send enough.

Have you ordered GCMS notes just in case?

IAmBule - Two fields in my GCMS notes are inaccurate (wife ordering of her name and my level of education). Think I should submit case specific enquiry giving them the correct information? Or don't bother?

No, not yet, cos it's only been about a week since i heard back from the MP's office that medical has passed, eligibility is in progress, and background checks have not started. it bothers me that thunderbay_vn's application has already been asked to attend an interview. wouldn't they at least ask for more proof or documentation first?

Yeah, got me rattled too. Just wondering if this is new SVO operating procedure or whether there are redflags in Thunderbay_vn's application.

For those who can read Vietnamese, see the following Facebook group chat (https://www.facebook.com/khucthuydu1169/). Basically, people with visa applications sharing their experiences re: their visa applications. I asked wife to ask if others are getting interview letters within a few months of their "in process" dates.
