Hello everyone,
My application has been started processing from August 6, 2014. Does anyone know when they will ask for PPR?

Wow "In Process" already? That's incredible. I saw another person from Singapore VO who applied in early March like you, and he got PPR a few days ago. This is a good sign that Singapore is moving ahead quickly!

Great news for me :)

Why don't you join our March 2014 applicants thread?

@Koifish, thanks for all your nice comments buddy, I have a lot of respect for you.

You will get PP request within 1 or 2 weeks with a sweet and sour gift inside.

No, if you go to monthly blogs for spousal immigration, you all will be surprised to see that some months like Jan and Feb there is not a single applicant for Singapore Visa office. I think people feel discourage to marry at home country seeing 30 months waiting time in SVO to bring their spouse. After marriage people are not interested to spend time with SVO people rather then spending time with their newly wed spouse.

So number of applicants gone down tremendously.

Yes I notice that the # of applicants have been going down lately year by year. Well good news for us I guess :P
But at the same time, a lot of people don't seem to realize 30 months isn't the average processing time, and if you have a solid case, then your time will be closer to around 10-12 months.

I have followed closely the number of applicants as well. I counted 38 members on various Singapore threads who applied the first 8 months of 2013. In 2014 so far, there is only 16! :o

So in near future some of the workers and visa officers in SVO will be laid off or fired for shortage of work by Canadian Govt.

I saw some applicants previously posted some curse to some VOs which they deserve.

I pray to my creator that these unemployed VOs do not get job except some jantorial works.
