that means u hv to get back to bngldsh to send passport! would u like to try to get permission from them by asking through email n show ur problem that ur in malaysia so can u submit pp in person also can u get it back in person or not also r u not allowed to send it from malaysia??

SVO doesn't have passport submission in person option any more, all applicants must send passport just by post.

I have checked that on friday , they don't have IN-Person option any more , that is y i am going back to my country , i only have visa for 10 more days to stay in malaysia, no choice just going back and send passport from there.

you may travel to Singapore and stay there for few days to get your passport back. You can go there and submit your passport by courier, you can have it back very soon.

im trying to vfs website but its not opening,what could be the problem!!!

The vfsglobal website seems to be down since yesterday, so I couldn't access it either.

However, if you are looking for their address/phone number, you can get it from a Google cached copy of the website (or just ask here).

Their general site, www.vfsglobal.com is working. However, the Canada site, www.vfsglobal.ca , as well as the Bangladesh specific site www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/bangladesh, still seems to be down.

Hello Everyone,
I am new to this forum. Can any of you nice people answer a few of my quarries? I sponsored my wife in Bangladesh on June 19, 2013. Approved as sponsor on July 23rd 2013. File was received at Singapore office July 29, 2013. Status says, 'Application received' and goes on to saying that Medical is received. Shouldn't the status say 'In process' or 'Decision Made'?

Also I made my wife seek a tourist visa in September 9, 2013. She was refused. I am thinking of making her re-apply. Is that a bad idea?

How soon can one expect to get the visa? I saw 'Goodman' was one of the lucky ones to get it in just over a year.

This will be a great opportunity to ask Minister Immigration about the delays to our cases and get our concerns registered... any thoughts ?

Yes ask him how does he explain being away from wife or husband for 26 months. Don't let him answer cliche. Tel him we want a certain answer. Ask him who are you to stay between two persons to judge whether their love is genuine or not? Ask him why are you playing with people's life for three or four years. Tell him why they don't care about people's feeling and just look at us as some numbers in immigration system.
