Hi all,

Just wondering what the timeline is with applying through the Singapore office. On the website it seems to be 26 months after sponsor approval. But on here, it seems a lot shorter. Can someone fill me in on the average timeline? I am originally from Singapore and moved to Canada last Oct. However, inland processing has been dragging on and I am wondering if it would make sense for me to apply via the Singapore office instead now.

Sigh... It has been a long frustrating wait...

Woooah!!!! Congrats Samkh.. So so happy for you...

Hi Goodman36

I have to fill up Appendix A ,
Did u write ur wife Information only , or u wrote ur Information as well ,

Coz i Dont know should i write my Husband information which is already in canada ?

About ur wife Information Did u write her name under applicant or Spouse ?

Thanks In Advance .

Samkh, your wait is finally over... wow..

In Appendix A, only the Applicant's information goes (and if there is any dependent children who is also coming to Canada).

The Sponsor's, who lives in Canada, information does not go anywhere in this Appendix. (That's how we did it, I mean my wife did :D)

Hi Tuesdayc

If you applied thru inland, then I wouldn't change it at this point.

Why don't you check the inland thread to see what's going on.

@Shiny88... You are back..... :-* ;D

:o :D congratulations Samkh!!happy for you!time to party!!! @sunsun: I haven't been here for over a month but I always come once in a while to check on people's progress with their sponsorship.happy to hear good news.:)

Happy to see you back here..... :)

Hi Samkh,

Congratulations!! Hope the rest of the journey goes fine for ya!

I was just wondering, are you still residing in Malaysia currently?
If you are in Malaysia, were you given any options to go and pick up the passport yourself in person from Singapore?

Thanks :)
