Singapore timeline

As we know that there is a change in spousal sponsorship application rule since October 25, 2012. Does anybody know if this new rule has made the processing time any faster(or slower!)?

Our application was received on February 8, 2013 and file was forwarded to Singapore on February 21, 2013. And as of today, the online application status is 'application recieved'.

I noticed around the time the rule was implemented, the sponsor's processing time went from 3 months to 1 month, but the Singapore wait time went from 24 to 26 months.

2 weeks and 2 days and the passport on its way back from Singapore!!!

Been trying to call cic this whole time to get an appointment here in Calgary to do her landing but can not get threw...

Think we will just go to Harry hays building Friday (if we have her passport like ups says ) and see what happens LOL

Hi Collectskulls, looks like you are from calgary? I am from edmonton. I never knew that we require to book an appointment for landing. My wife already sent her passport to singapore so she will be landing in april. But since she will be travelling to edmonton via vancouver so her landing formalities will be in vancouver airport. Could you please specify what this appointment is for that you mentioned? Thanks

Sounds like your wife will just do it when she lands at vancouver airport

I have a question on Appendix ‘A': do i fill up only with my husband info or including my daughter and me even tough we are canadian?
Another thing is on the top it says in writing to let visa office know if anything change(like birth) do i have to let them know even tough my daughter was born in canada and am the female sponsor in canada?tnx
