I recommend you only send strong proofs. I sent over the course of our application.. proof of daily phone calls, western union receipts dated every two weeks for over a year, passport stamps from my visits after we applied, boarding passes of flights taken together, photos of us, and my Indonesian visa extension sponsored by my wife.

Hey I have new money transfer invoices , mobile recharge invoices, new Facebook chat messages.
Do I just upload the Documents on the via webform?

And also we haven't been married for one year yet.
Nov 24 2016 wedding date.
That's why they want interview.
Also it was arranged marriage.

My wife passed her medical on July 11.
Our application was going pretty smooth... until now

Hello. It has been 4 and half month since we received our last update. I have seen applicants receive one update on ECAS as "Medical results have been received" within few months of application. However, I am still waiting to receive any update. I would like to know if there is anyone who has any similar experience like this. Is it normal or should I be concerned?

Our timeline on ECAS is as follows:

Sponsorship
1. We received your application to sponsor on January 25, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 11, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on February 10, 2017.

Permanent Residence "In Process" since March 2017

1. We received your application for permanent residence on January 25, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 9, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on March 9, 2017.

We have applied through a representative. This is why we could not get any more update using MYCIC.

Hi..can anyone please advise a logistic company to use to send personal effects to Manitoba from Singapore? We are hoping to find a sea freight as it is cheaper than air freight. Else, if anyone can give a suggestion, would greatly appreciate. Thanks!

My wife got update and its says that she need to do medical again. its says that all the document and pictures send back to me by the mail and that i need to show a proof of paiement for the permanent residence visa. i am traveling in Malaysia with my wife at the moment and we need to do medical and summit it between 30 days. Do some people know if they have a queue right now at IOM to get an appointment in Saigon to make medical ? Do i need to come back to Saigon right now or we can wait to back 3 august ? i did not expect that we need to do medical again, i am just worry to get it late. They begin the background check at the moment...

We also applied through a representative. Are you or your spouse in Canada? You can get the same MyCic updates by calling IRCC at 1-888-242-2100 from within Canada using a touch-tone telephone. It is available 24-7 and it gives you an automated recorded message about the status. If, however, both of you are out of country, you could have a trusted relative call and record the voice message for you. We are both out-of-country so we got my mother to record the voice message and send to us periodically. That way, we aren't really missing out on any updates without having access to MyCic.

woww...great news , and for me today I got email from Singapore requested for original police check and I have to send by mail .and in the email they said send me some original documents and pictures back to me, hope everything going well ..yippee!!

Wow!! Great!! If they are sending originals back to you that is a REALLY good sign I think! Seems like our agent had a busy day today working on both of our files!! Hooray for moving files! I also listened to my MyCic voice message, and now they are processing the background check too!!! Woohoo!! The eligibility is still in progress, though. Is your eligibility "passed" or "in progress" @TKGSTK?

Great! So it seems like we are roughly on the same schedule, except I already sent the original police check and we still need to do the medical check in Chiang Mai within the next couple of weeks! Exciting to see some movement in both of our files!!

I have no idea about the wait for IOM but here is the phone number that you could call from Malaysia (maybe using Skype or google call etc.) (84-8) 3822 2057/ 2058. You can ask how long the wait is, and then schedule an appointment for August 4th or so for when you are back. You have 30 days to complete your medical, so just make sure you do it by the deadline. What date is on your medical request letter? If you just got the medical request than you still have plenty of time to get the medical done once you arrive home!

Hi! Thanks for the answer... we came back in Saigon finally after my mother in law took appointment for my wife at IOM. In Kuala Lumpur, it's look like that IOM there does medical exam for refugees only. CIC send us the message 20 July. Just hope that it's a good news for our application process. Everything still on progress for the moment. The medical was saying passed before cause we did one last year. The background check is in progress, I hope that they will not ask for the police documents too.

hello everyone . im working in SG and just receive my AOR and manage to link my application and they have given me a pdf file containing a letter that I need to pass schedule A and a police clearance. My question is will that pdf suitable enough to pass to police for an appeal?because I am a foreign worker and I need to appeal first before applying for police clearance.

Hi Everyone,
i have an question , can someone pls answer?
last month i sent family sponsorship application. 1 week ago they accepted my sponsorship and yesterday i received another email said, they forward my wifes application to Singapore and it will be processed there. (my wife from Vietnam)
Do you guys have any idea from now how long it would the processing time. We have baby so is it make the processing any faster?
And when i sent application i added police clearance for my wife , she got it from Vietnam. They told my wife its valid 1 year. would singapore office ask again same paper?
Lastly, is anyone if they do medical check in Hanoi?
