If you didn't had interview your DECISION MADE is 98% sure a positive answer, should get ppr really soon. For me i got ppr one week before getting DECISION MADE on ecas

Just got an email requesting medical results and a police certificate. The hospital in Bangkok assured me that they would send the medical results to the Singapore office the day we did them ( Aug 6th) apparently not. We can now do the police check as the Thai police will not do one until you get a letter from the CIC requesting one, which we now have. At least things are moving along, but I can see we will be a few more months now.

Ok, just called the Thai Royal Police, they say it takes 30 days to get the police certificate. Is that correct? The letter I got requesting the police certificate says we only have 30 days to submit, how is this possible???

Any advise?

If your Thai wife go to the Thai Royel Police and asks for urgent request is cost about 1500 Thai baht, they can process about a week. Or if it's inconvenient for your wife to go there I have a contact person so you don't have to go there cost is the same. PM me if you need a contact.

Ok, thanks for the info. My wife called again and found someone who will do the urgent request.

Thanks again for the quick replies.

I don't know if it has changed since sept 2015. But when I did, we didn't have the letter from cic, we did before we applied while I was in Thailand with my wife. For the 30 days process is true but there is a way to get it before. Normally the cost is 100 bht plus post fee. But if you go yourself to Thai royal police headquarter in Bangkok you can pay an "emergency fee" and you will get it within a week deliver by mail. No need to say that you have to pay cash for "the emergency fee". For us the total cost was 1500 bht.

Yes, after I got the same advice from some others my wife called back and they will do it for an extra fee. I'm not sure how some of you got the certificate in advance as when my wife called they specifically asked if we had the letter from CIC requesting the certificate and confirming that we had already applied for the PR. Of course possibly some tea money might have fixed that problem before as well ;D

So, one more question....once I get the certificate can I just upload it to the file? The letter does say that they need the original sent by post.

Thanks again for the help.

For us we didn't call before we just show up and the guy asked if we had the letter from cic. We didn't had it and ask for the certificate, pay 1500 bht and 6 days later the police certificate show up in letter box of my wife ;) The visa office need the orignal copy. You can upload it to show cic that you did it but they will ask the original

Hi guys I need an advise from the people who have received ppr and submitted the passport. Do i need to submit the passport and photos along with the complete letter from IRCC or only the appendix B form filled up? Thanks in advance.
